My wife and I went to this establishment for breakfast between 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning. The place was clean and colorful and inviting. The portions of food are overpriced, but they are delicious. Nothing we ate was the kind of food pre-frozen. It appeared to be prepared from scratch and made with love. A lot of the menu items were quite tempting. What I don't like about eating here and you should be aware of if you go to this place is the up-charges you'll find on your bill once they drop it at your table. When you order, depending on what you order, your server may offer you some tortillas or ask you whether you'd like the green sauce or the red one or both. I ordered the huevos rancheros and I accepted the tortillas and a mixture of the sauces, but I did not know three little Street Taco tortillas would cost an extra $2 and mixing the sauces was another dollar on top of that up charge. The server failed to mention any of the up charges, or else I would have declined. My wife ordered the croissant French toast and it was amazing, however, it is $12 for one croissant cut in half and made into French toast. When the server asked her if she would like a breakfast plate with that as well, she failed to mention that it would be an additional $10 up charge added on. What should have only been $26 quickly became $39, which could have been avoided if we were informed of the up-charge prices. That kind of business ethic seems shady to me and we are not likely to return, nor am I going to recommend this place to anyone else. It's a shame because I wanted to like this place. When we were ready to pay, our server placed the check at our table and said no rush and after waiting a good while we realized she must have meant she was in no rush to come by and pick it up. Our server in particular did happen to have some pretty large impressive fake nails, not that that's relevant except that I don't remember her name, just her Giant cool pink nails and her very blue...
Read moreI’ve been to this place plenty of times for special occasions. My kids and I came to this place and we always order the same thing and the same exact way. Never had I ever had an issue before, till today. My kids eggs were over cooked. I asked nicely if they could remake them. If it was mine I wouldn’t complain and would’ve ate it no matter what. So they hesitantly re-made them. Which my kids were happy and ate the new eggs. Never even touched the other eggs. I receive the check and they charged me for the remake. No voids and no comps. The server said she called her manager and she said to charge me for them since there wasn’t anything wrong with the eggs. I wouldn’t be complaining but it was 2 of my kids birthdays today and that the eggs were over cooked and wanted my kids breakfast to be what they asked for and how they wanted it so they could enjoy it since they’ve never messed up before. I told the server I shouldn’t be charged for this she said well if I void it then the server would have to pay for it. I told her NO ONE should pay for it. She said that’s their policy. It wasn’t the servers fault for over cooking the eggs. It wasn’t my fault as I’m the customer and was just trying to please my kids as it was a special occasion. I am in the restaurant industry and never have I ever heard such a thing. They gave me the managers number. But unfortunately no answer. The server was nice and I am not ever a customer that complains. But the manager should’ve voided the eggs as it was neither the server or my fault. Things happen a lot in this industry but I know for a fact in the restaurant industry your suppose to please all customers that come into your place of work to the best you can. It wasn’t busy today. I wasn’t disrespectful nor would I ever go to such extent for a bad review but this is unacceptable. So just for a heads up for new customers if you ask for a remake they will just charge you. So just eat what you get even if your unsatisfied as...
Read moreI really wanted to like Brunch Bliss & Bubbles. The decor is cute and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish.
The wait to be seated was unreasonably long. Once seated, we were given a large menu, but it lacked variety having lots of options, but not many distinct choices.
Service was a consistent issue throughout. Our appetizer took quite a while to come out, and when it finally did, only two plates were brought for our party of five. We requested the missing plates immediately, but they didn’t arrive until after the main dishes were served just a few minutes later. This left no time to actually enjoy the appetizer, which mostly went uneaten as a result.
Drinks were another issue: nobody checked in on them or offered refills until the very end of our visit, well after the meal was over. The pacing and attentiveness just weren’t there.
The food itself was just okay. It wasn't bad, but nothing special. Certainly not worth the $20 to $30 per person pricing. Given the slow and disorganized service, it felt overpriced for what was ultimately a frustrating and underwhelming meal.
To make matters worse, we were seated outside at a table meant for four, despite being a party of five. One guest was left with a mismatched chair that was noticeably shorter than the others, and certainly too low for the table, making the entire meal uncomfortable for them. Given the service issues, underwhelming food, and overall lack of attention to detail, I would more readily recommend Caffé 11th Avenue for brunch, just a few blocks away. They offer a far better experience in terms of food quality, service,...
