Stopped going there. My husband and I decided we would not eat at home anymore on weekends, weâd use coupons to eat out at fast food places. This place got knocked off our list of places to go. Every time we go thereâs a problem. We just couldnât stand the aggravation anymore. They cheat so much at the cash register and they lie and try to make a fool of you. Every order results in being almost double the price by the time they ring it up because of (as I discovered) the conniving and sly way they do their up selling. I know all places try to up sell but McDonaldâs and everywhere else is at least upfront and transparent about what theyâre doing. A&E is deceitful. Order a breakfast combo, they ask do you want coffee, tea or orange juice. Leading us to believe either one is included in the combo price. Nope, we discovered theyâd charged us for the oj. Then they say do you want hash browns, fries or rings? Same thing, leading us to believe either one is included in the combo. Nope. Charged us 4.00 for fries. I have zero tolerance for intentional deceit. Another time we show up 11:02 am, no more breakfast. Another time we ordered white toast, they took my money, said nothing about not having white bread, served me brown toast. When I gave it back they said âwe ran out of white toastâ. Then why didnât you tell me when I ordered that you didnât have it instead of trying to slip the brown bread on me in a sly and deceitful way without disclosure. Every time we went there weâve encountered problems with them being underhanded and deceitful. Their breakfast sandwiches have no sauce or anything on the bun so itâs really dry. Asked for mayo or sauce or something on it, nope doesnât come with sauce. Stopped ordering that. Ordered two burger combos for dinner one day, asked for coffee instead of pop with one combo, nope canât have that either. There comes a point when you just want a freaking peaceful honest meal at the advertised price, made the way you like it, without having an argument all the time. Theyâre just not worth the pain and suffering, itâs a fast food joint, they act like...
Read moreOriginal Review: This was not it. The washroom was in disarrayâthey were asking customers to put used toilet paper into the trash bin. The food had a very off smell, especially the lettuce, which had a raw, unwashed scent. The service, particularly from the lady behind the counter, was unpleasant and difficult to deal with. And only one refill? Seriously? If Iâm coming here to enjoy a burger and a good meal with a friend, are you really going to limit customers to just one refill when your profit margins are already high?
Update (10 months later): Dropped in for their $5 Teen Burger special, and honestlyâit was one of the best burgers Iâve ever had! The store was super clean compared to last time. I didnât ask about the one-refill policy and didnât check the washroom either, but given how spotless the restaurant was, Iâm assuming theyâve fixed that issue too. Iâm really happy to see that they took the feedback and actually made improvements. Iâll definitely be coming back to this location...

Dissatisfied with a recent encounter.. February 10 2022.
Tell me if this seems fair. The store was offering a buy one get one Buddy Burger. .
I bought a burger with extra cheese which I paid for but didn't get. I also ordered a coffee and an apple turnover.. I thought that the offer that was their posted in the store would have been honored but they said that they wouldn't because I used the mobile app when ordering. Despite showing the staff that I would like this offer before placing the order. . Anyway lesson games to do research before you pick up any orders or specials out of this location. . Now they got my phone number and I'm sure that they won't honor any of those...
