Ah, what a meal it was! Italian cuisine at its finest – and not in Umbria or Sicily, but just around the corner! We started with a fish soup, aromatic like a morning in a seaside town, with a delicate hint of the sea and sunshine. The carbonara? A classic in its best form – silky sauce, egg treated with proper respect, and that wonderful, slightly peppery finish. The fusion salad was a pleasant nod to modernity – freshness, crunch, and a touch of culinary fantasy. And our four-year-old? Spoiled like a little prince – he got a specially prepared pasta with tomato sauce, simple yet genius in its childlike honesty. The staff? Smiling, patient, making you feel like a long-lost friend. The interior – warm, full of atmosphere, smelling of Italy not just because of the food, but also thanks to details that bring to mind cozy family trattorias. Highly recommended – because here you don’t just eat, you taste life.

I had lunch here yesterday and ordered a fish fillet, a mixed fried seafood plate, and two fish soups. The flavors were quite basic, and the portions were smaller than expected. The fish fillet was tasty, but unfortunately, it made up only a quarter of the plate. It was advertised as coming with vegetables, but those turned out to be just a few thin slices of peppers and eggplant. The fried mix was very disappointing, dry and hard to enjoy, especially since no sauce was served with it, even after we asked. It definitely needed something to balance the texture. I’m leaving this second review because the restaurant replied to my first one claiming I was never there, based on their cameras, LOL. For the record, I absolutely was, and I’m attaching the receipt here just for the cause. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming.

The food was good, 4 stars at least. Very delicious fish dishes with quality ingredients! However, the service level leaves a bit to be desired.

No complimentary simple snacks - like bread, to the drinks after a large order of food and wine. First occurrence during our stay in Durres. The wait for food was longer than usual, more than 30 minutes, which made this potentially even more important.

Waiter did not ask if we would like water with our wine, also standard professionalism everywhere. Also, first occurrence during our stay in Durres.

Food came in unsynchronized with about ten-minute differences to everyone in the party. Also a first in Durres.

Finally, card payment not possible even though it worked fine in all places around for the night. A first in Durres here too.

The food was good as well as was the environment to eat it in, nice restaurant furnishings and internals. Unfortunately, some practicals as mentioned above made this something less than a fine...
