For lovers of seafood, this restaurant is an absolute delight. It offers both indoor and outdoor dining - given it was around 28 deg. when we were there, we choose the covered outdoor option. Our friendly and efficient waiter brought us through our eating options on the day, I was especially impressed when he brought us a platter of the fish available to us. On this occasion the choices included monkfish, john dory and sea bass and we each picked the individual fish we wished to have, with each of the species being selected by us.
While waiting for our fish to be prepared, we opted for a seafood risotto. This contained mussels, squid, octopus and shrimp, all cooked to perfection and served with warm, fresh bread and beautifully seasoned rice.
Our mains arrived after a suitable rest period and did not disappoint. Served on the bone and without distraction of sauces or too much seasoning, we were each blown away by the freshness and flavours. I have nothing negative to say about this experience, the seating was comfortable, linen tablecloths and napkins, sheltered from the early afternoon sun, and topped off with a pretty decent house wine.

Read moreWhile the location is stylish and right by the sea, there is a lot of room for improvement. I ordered Tuna, they don’t have tuna. Ok. Then I ordered Cod and Octopus. The cod arrived, but it was actually Sepia because they didn’t have Cod, either. I did not want this, so at least they took it away without issue. The octopus arrived, presented just as the tips of the tails. Somewhat strange presentation. I wonder what happened to the rest of the octopus. Finally the octopus was undercooked, the tip of the tail did not have the charred flavor or crisp that makes grilled octopus so good. And the overall texture was chewier than it should be. When the bill arrived I was glad to see that they didn’t charge me for the plate I didn’t order, but the Aperol Spritz was 700 Lek! Even by the sea the average price for an Aperol is 400-500 Lek. It was the most expensive drink I paid for after 10 days in Albania. Hopefully in the future they can manage to make sure the dishes offered on their menu are mostly available and make improvements otherwise. It is a...
