Rossini gastropub — Restaurant in Tirana Municipality

During our stay in Tirana at the beginning our round trip, we had evening dinner twice in this restaurant. The food was delicious and very good portions with high quality fresh ingredients. The interior is great and has a warm welcoming surrounding. You are sitting 'outside' as the roof is open which gives a great atmosphere. The whole team of Rossine took great care of our family and made us feel special and happy to be in Albania. Our waiter and the owner were the best hospitality guys in Tirana. We had to come back on our last evening to have dinner again here and they were so happy to see us again, and after paying the bill, we got a nice glass of Raki as a farwell...

I had cream truffle pasta. The total amount of chicken and mushroom in the dish combined was maybe a tablesoon. No truffle taste either. It was just plain pasta and cream. The profiterole was stale, soft and no chocolate sauce. Just a teaspoon of hazelnut spread on top of the profiteroles. Felt very store-bought. Smoking is allowed inside, made it unpleasant for us nonsmokers. Disappointed for above average Tiran places. Excellent service but bad food. Food was so good we came twice in our 2 day stay in Tirana. First day we stumbled in and had some Tacos and burgers (Had 2 Hungry Teens) The next evening when we were hungry we decided to go back since we had such a great meal the first time. Split a Salad, Sausages and a Pasta Carbonara and took a pizza back to our hungry teens in the hotel. Again Delicious Service is above average for Albania Not typical slow service we experienced elsewhere....
