Restaurant TATU — Restaurant in Andorra la Vella

What's the "weirdest" country you've been to❓ For me it's Andorra 🇦🇩. It's weird because when you're in Andorra, it's hard to say that you're not in Spain 🇪🇸, or that you're not in France 🇫🇷. Yet most of the people you'll meet there are Portuguese 🇵🇹 or Argentinian 🇦🇷... Really a strange mix... 😅 It's also a country where everything besides ⛽ fuel, 🚬tobacco and 🍸 alcohol is more expensive than in the countries around: 🏠 housing is expensive and 🍴restaurants are expensive. Not to mention ⛷️ ski passes! There still are a few places that offer lunch special in Andorra la Vella though, like Tatú. The place isn't cozy or very nice looking. The service is not especially professional: they mixed up our orders (literally: I got my wife's side and she got mine!) and they added sauces where we explicitly ordered with no sauce. But they're still nic, attentive and willing to help. 👍 The food was good (the French fries 🍟 not so much) and the quantities abundant (look at the 🥩 grilled meat platter!), especially for a lunch special, and especially for €15 each. 👏 Cherry on the pie, we were welcomed with complimentary (and good) olives 🫒. As I mentioned, the quantities were great except for the desserts that were very small. 🤷 But in general, we can't really complain and I think this place is a solid option for lunch that I would like to visit again someday. . . . Was extremely impressed with my experience at Restaurant TATU. The food was excellent with an outstanding variety of grilled meats, risottos, carpaccios, deserts, and more. What was even more impressive was the fact that unknowing to us, we arrived at closing time. The staff pleasantly sat us and ensured we took our time and enjoyed multiple courses. Situado en el Edificio de las columnas a media altura del soportal encontramos éste pequeño restaurante en una de las avenidas más transitadas de Andorra. Tiene un par o tres de mesas fuera y dentro dispone de unas 10 más o menos por lo q aún no siendo imprescindible... según q día recomiendo reservar. Tienen un menú ajustadisimo y la carta tampoco está nada mal de precio... la bebida es otro cantar 😂... una jarra de cerveza 🍺 con limón 🍋 4,25€... es caro, más aún si pensamos q el menú cuesta 13,90€... bebida a parte. La comida sin embargo... muy bien 👍 La picaña en su punto... las croquetas aunque no eran caseras nos resultaron buenas de sabor... las manitas a la brasa se requemaron pero no era incómodo de comer... no era quemado, me explico... era churrascado pero se podían comer la verdad... nos gustó y sin duda volveremos... tenemos otro restaurante al q acudir para nuestras escapadas a Andorra.
