Unexpected great place. Found them accidently walking through paid attention on grilled chicken. Amazing dishes, great serving, big in size, good prices, friendly and caring staff, variety of alcoholic cocktails, beers and nice coconut crush. Mostly should be reserved in advance but we were lucky to get there without it. Ordered beer and coconut crush, half chicken in hot peri-peri sauce, medium rare beef barbecue served on plate with hanging hook. We were so full this evening. It cost us 168 caribbean $ ( about 60 usd). Cards are only Visa or Mastercard. SouthAfrican guys were nice and very attentive. Regreted that did not try their lobsters which looked so yummy on neighbor's table.

Loved my baby back ribs - probably the best I have had. Lots of meat on them that just peeled off the bone, like they should. I also had their number one side - potato bake. It was very good but I preferred my partners coleslaw. The staff were super friendly and the owner came by as well. My only disappointment- it's closed on Sunday and Monday in the off-season. Such a shame as we would have eaten there again. One suggestion through- offer wet wipes at the end of the meal as the ribs get everywhere. Other than that - perfect dinner and best meal on the island.

If you want some good, authentic food, Flatties is a must. Outdoor space is perfect, right across the street from the marina. Food is fall of the bone good, literally. It was recommended to us by a local, we are truly fans now. If you are visiting the area and don’t stop in, you are missing out. We will be back to the island in November and Flatties is definitely on the list!

I’ve got mixed feelings about this place. Been three times now—twice it was absolutely spot on, the ribs and mac combo is an absolute belter. But tonight? Tonight was different. I made the mistake of going for the chicken burger, and honestly, it just wasn’t it.

Now, I’ll admit, I wasn’t in the best frame of mind. The huns somehow fluked a winner in the derby earlier, so it was already shaping up to be a miserable Sunday. But I thought, surely, a simple chicken burger could salvage the day. Turns out, I was wrong. The chicken burger did nothing but add to the disappointment.

That being said, I’ll be back—just not for the burger. And at least we all know Celtic will still be lifting the league trophy come May, so it’s not all...

I stayed in English Harbour for a week during low season and Flatties was our number one stop as a quick and easy dinner option.

Pros: The menu had a lot of options. The prices were standard for mains so some options were quite affordable (this however means that others were not). The food tasted great. Nice relaxed vibe with friendly staff. We found out that lots of the restaurants were closed over the low season so finding dinner was a task. But Flatties was open every evening from 6. So this is a major plus.

Cons: The facilities could do with a little...
