Amazing authentic Mexican food!!! We are from Southern California which, being so close to Mexico, has some of the best Mexican food. So, we know what true Mexican food should taste like.

This place blew us away!!!!! It rivals some of the best Mexican restaurants in So. Cal! We started with a pitcher of margaritas. Fantastic! Tasted fresh and exactly like a margarita should taste. Then the nachos. Wowza! Fresh homemade chips with melted cheese and all the other goodies. They were incredible! My boyfriend has the Birra tacos and I had the chicken tacos. Homemade tortillas! Again
wowza! They were so very delicious!!! Everything was homemade and with the freshest ingredients. So much flavor and true authentic Mexican food. This place is NOT to be missed! One of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time!

Also worth mentioning is the fantastic service! Taryn was exceptional! She promptly greeted us with a smile. From there she was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Her service was attentive, but not intrusive. This made the experience...

Came here in ‘off-season’ and were the first in the door when they opened for the evening (nothing like looking keen). Service was consistently warm and friendly from that moment through to when the restaurant and bar was much fuller. Happy hour was 5.30-7pm so we loaded up on their tequila infused rum punch which went down well. Genuinely some of the best tasting Mexican food I’ve had after trying numerous Mexican restaurants in Brighton, London and NY. Taco Tuesday meant we could mix and match 3 different tacos from different price ranges and fix at a total of $45ECD. They can do gluten free options of quite a few dishes which was great for my wife who is coeliac. I would recommend the fish tacos not tempura’d, flavour of the fish really came through. Atmosphere, food, alcohol and service made this a standout for us at the end of our holiday. Will definitely come again when we hopefully revisit Antigua in...

Their asada tacos are absolutely amazing! The flavors are spot on, and the tenderness of the meat is delightful. But what truly sets them apart is the wide variety of salsas they offer to complement the tacos. Each salsa brings a unique burst of taste, adding a whole new dimension to the dish. It's a salsa lover's paradise! Beyond the delectable food, the hospitality at Los Cabrones is unparalleled. Every time I visit, it feels like coming home to family. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. They greet us with genuine smiles and go above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Los Cabrones has become one of my go-to places for a delicious and heartwarming meal. The combination of fantastic asada tacos and the warm, family-like atmosphere keeps me coming back for more. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't already. You won't be...

Went there Tuesday around 8 pm with reservation, party of 5. The place was full. Great atmosphere, chill vibes... Carlo (or Carlos, not sure) is sooo friendly and welcoming. One girl seemed to have a bit of attitude, but everyone else was ok. Place has good music as well. They even sang and played live Happy birthday to a kid. Cocktails are great 😀. I love Mexican food so I have to be a bit critical about the food. Let's start with good things. Shrimp Fajitas -maybe a bit small portion but great taste. We also had quesadilla, nachos plate with beef and fish tacos - all tasty. The only dish that didn't leave good impression was chicken burrito (mostly rice and peas inside). And, though complementary, nachos and sauce at the beginning was bland. Hope you guys improve these little things and next time we visit you get 5 stars. đŸ€©

atmosphere was good since its no longer tourist season so it was a quiet night, we got seated and attended to right away. our server was nice but maybe i had my expectations for this restaurant a little too high and got disappointed in the end. food: no vegetarian option like a typical mexican restaurant would have but portions were great and but was bland (sigh) drinks: like the bartender said, they do drinks differently from all the restaurants in antigua, their coconut crush and other fruit crushes were done sour because that’s their “thing”, but they were nice enough to have us get something else instead. but as usual, in antigua the bartender served drinks with a side of attitude.

Feel like family! If you read the other reviews, this is the theme. We are live aboard sailors, arrived in Antigua over the holidays and were exploring the Falmouth Harbour area on Christmas Eve. We were greeted on the street by the affable, energetic owner Danny. We talked about being away from family on Christmas and his response was ”everyone here was in the same situation and tonight we were all family”. He wasn’t kidding. The place was hopping and had a GREAT vibe throughout the night. The food was spot on, the cocktails the same. The staff reflected the owner’s passion and energy. If in Falmouth Harbour Antigua, definitely go to Los Cabrones.
