Habour View Bar and Cafe — Restaurant in Antigua

It was extremely warm the day we visited so we wanted to get a cool nice drink, I ordered a pina colada and my partner ordered a Iced Latte. When I first tasted the drink it was pure alcohol and nearly blew my head off if your a alcoholic this is the perfect place. I asked the waitress dressed in black with coiled short hair if I could have some more coconut in my drink as I couldn’t drink it, her response was that they are pre-made and she couldn’t do anything along with “Yikes” This explains why it was so cold along with the glass being freezing, this is the worse drink I have ever had and bad service if they cannot rectify their error. If you don’t know how to make cocktails properly don’t serve them pre made where they have been made for days and days sat in a freezer My partner didn’t enjoy her iced coffee either the waiter asked if she wanted it shaken or blended and she received it flat and again the worse iced coffee she’d had. The waiters asked for our order 3 times also before we received it and it took ages for two drinks again poor service. The lady I described above is rude and shouldn’t be in a customer service role, she walked past staring and giving us dirty looks which is uncomfortable just because we brought up a issue and problem. Another member of staff asked if we would like to leave a tip I said we didn’t enjoy it and she just laughed at us, again customer service poor unfortunately they didn’t have name badges so cannot identify the waitresses, the lady owner seemed very kind and the Lady in Red glasses with Big Earings seems really nice too. However my advice to her would be hire new members of staff as they dragging the atmosphere down! Also don’t sell cocktails if your not making them !!

ZERO stars, but you have to give at least one to post a review. My wife and Went to this place when my cruise ship docked in Antigua and simply needed to use the rest room before getting some food. Asked where it was, went to it, only to be followed by some woman who claimed to be the owner, but I thought she was asking if the bathroom was for customers only, not making a statement. I said I was unsure, but I was going to use it and I closed the door. While inside, she turned off the lights and the water to the bathroom!!!! When I came out of the rest room, this woman was standing there shouting with her hands in my face about the bathroom being for customers and not being disrespected in her establishment. There was no reasoning with her, I can't comment on the food or the other staff, but if she was the owner and that was her behavior about the bathroom, I'm all set. There were plenty of other places around and I got better food and hospitality. I never had the chance to become a customer because I simply wanted to relieve myself and wash my hands before sitting down to eat. I do not recommend this...

Great lunch today at the Harbor view Bar and Cafe. The view is great overlooking the harbor (just as it says in the name). We watched the cruise guests get on and off the ship, watched the Catamaran come and bring the tour back. It was entertaining. We enjoyed a great lunch. John, my hubby, enjoyed a Melting pot panini sandwich 🥪. It was delicious 😋 had a 1/4 of his sandwich as it was a large portion. It was spicy 🔥 but good. I enjoyed a great Ceasar salad with chicken. It too had some spicy chicken in it. Staff here too was very nice and helpful. Restaurant is up on the second floor, stairs, no elevator. It has a bar area , the front by the harbor and another sitting area. We liked it! Priced reasonably. Washrooms were not working, but there were others near...
