Petal's Cafe — Restaurant in Antigua

What a great find! We are on a sailboat, and didn't know anything about local restaurants. While we were at the marina, we happened to walk by Petal's Cafe and noticed the amazing breeze blowing through the restaurant on a hot morning, but it didn't diminish the enticing aroma coming out of the kitchen. We decided to stop for breakfast. We had the breakfast roti, and the French toast. They were both tasty, but the roti was perfect! Crispy outside, cooked well on the inside, wow! We came for breakfast and all ordered the breakfast roti, which were excellent. I would have rated them as 5* but for the service. We received 2 meals after about 20 min., then the 3rd one after a wait of another 10 min. and the final meal after a further 30 min. While waiting for our meals, we saw other breakfast roti meals being served to other customers who came after us so obviously the wait staff mixed up our order. 1000% recommend coming here. Great and quick service, lots of open air seating, right by the harbour, and best of yet delicious and super affordable food :) We ordered EC$20 French toast w banana and strawberries which were almost caramelised and such a good lightly sweet “starter” ... and then ordered chicken roti and curry (I asked to replace goat/chicken w fish) and it was incredible! The curry comes with such good potato salad and both meals came with a watermelon salad. If I remember right, the total for 3 meals came out to be EC$75.
