What a HUGE disconnect. We were there two nights ago...and the food was stunning, not to be missed. The waitress was so amazing and we felt as we walked out that we had found one of the best restaurants in Buenos Aires. We went again last night. HUGE MISTAKE. The waitresses were completely bored, sauntering around like zombies, not looking at anyone or their tables. And it was not busy at all. We ordered two dishes each. We later learned they were out of the pickled beets. Did the waitress tell us as she dropped off the menu? No! Did she tell us when we ordered it? No! 10 minutes later, she sauntered over, completely checked out, and staring into space, we asked for the menu again. 15 minutes later she came to see if I wanted something else (there were 4 tables in the restaurant), and yet they stood, the 3 of them gossiping at the till, all this time. I said I would just have my one course, but please bring it with my companion's two courses. Which she did not. And when she dropped off the two dishes for my companion, I asked her again and she said it was two minutes away. This was 730pm. I had a total of 3 beers waiting for my lamb sandwich. My companion finished his two courses and when he wanted another lemonade, she said , they could not make it. (8:00 closing time?). And I thought, I am going to check if the reason was 8pm or were they truly out. But I could not get her attention from her riveting conversation with her co-workers, none of them would look up? So I walked up to the till and asked. She brought it right away. I noticed walking back to my table, a table outside (all 4) waving frantically to get someone's attention - they wanted their bill. So I walked back up to the till and pointed it out. The 4 waved in appreciation. At 805 I asked for the bill and she brought both the bill and my sandwich. I said I did not want it now, given they were closed and my companion was finished (we had been there 1 hour and 30 minutes by then). She took the sandwich away and I saw, what I thought was the manager rush to put my sandwich into a take away container (thinking they might make the decision to give it to me anyways, but no again, someone clearly wanted to take it home) Did the manager on duty come over at any time to see what the delay was about? No Did the Manager on duty (there were only 2 tables at this point), try to figure out what happened and what they could do to fix it? No. The manager on Duty should be let go. And the owner should lose their business if they can't figure out how or what happened? The service completely ruined our evening (no matter how good the food is, and we paid $75 for lunch, not a small price). Avoid this place...

Read moreThe quality and taste of the food is out of this world delicious! We enjoyed a poppyseed bagel with tomato and avocado, a bagel with scrambled eggs, a sandwich and a wrap - it was all incredibly delicious. It is Greek-style and just perfectly done. The atmosphere was on point and quite enjoyable.
The service was not overly impressive. I found the food and drinks to come quite slowly. I requested an additional chair to satisfy one seat per person in our party. The chair never came. The waitress was more concerned with moving our bags , that we’re already tucked under our seats and table. However, lack of interest in getting a seat for all of us. I think the service priorities are not in order. The food was so fabulous it does outweigh the...
