Beautiful park, used to be a penitentiary many years ago, then a park not well taken care. It's history is almost unknown, and I didn't see a museum or plaque about the history. I heard that there conducting works to uncover some possible historic elements from those times. The park in one corner has Virgin Loretto's church, nice and cute to visit. Then there are soccer fields for all ages. Play grounds for children and benches to enjoy beautiful shades of awesome trees in abundance and varieties. In spring time the colours of the blossoms are breathtaking. Many people take their dogs to have a walk or to the doggy park. Walking it's also an option because is big. Sometimes there is a fair or they do food booth's to eat there or buy. Activities are always scheduled and if I am not wrong I remember a carrousel. To simplify nice park to visit, stay and have a mate with friends, unplugging, listen music, do nothing or enjoy green grass, great trees, plants and flowers and detox. Clean and very safe. Very close to major arteries like Las Heras Ave or Santa...

You see people working out, kids playing, dogs playing, people having birthday parties, people playing sports, people just chilling sitting on the floor reading a book or hanging out with friends. The park has 3 playgrounds for kids and one big dog park, a roller skating rink, four ping pong tables, a volleyball and football court, it also has park rangers that make sure the park is clean and safe all the time. There are six football fields that are for rent and also for kids to learn to play. On one side of the park there's a recycling point where one can bring all sorts of recycling materials to discard them in a safe and sustainable manner. The only flaw it has is that the grass is often dry and so they have to close out parts of the park so they can't be used while the grass grows back. Nonetheless, it is definitely a great place to hang out with friends and family and have a good time without spending too much money (or even...
