Very disorganized, no instructions on seating, and overall disappointing experience. With so many other restaurants a few steps away, I'd suggest saving yourself the headache. Try somewhere else, anywhere else.
My server (man with Fawkhawk haircut and fashion framed glasses) was sloppy.
Table mats were half-cleaned w/crumbs and stains (no biggie, I cleaned mine with a disinfectant wipe from my bag).
Soda was hot (not the end of the world).
No napkins (I had my own so didn't complain).
Asked for a straw. Waited 10 mins then asked another server. Fawkhawk seemed to get upset at the other server for helping me, as if he was making me wait or suffer on purpose. (Not sure what that was about).
From the English menu, I ordered quarter chicken and sauteed spinach from Light Selection, with a fried egg on the side (huevo frito, muy duro, bien hecho). For the quarter chicken, I asked if I could have the breast (saying pechuga and using body language to wave my hands across my breasts). He acted like he understood and said yes, but brought me a completely different meal - fish with brocolli and sweet potatoes! With a runny fried egg đ€Šđœââïž. He tried to explain away his mistake as if I changed my mind or made the error, so I spoke to manager myself. The correction had cold boiled eggs and tasteless spinach. Not a hint of garlic or seasoning, and certainly not sauteed.
I paid $20 USD for a subpar meal that was bland and tasteless. To make matters worse, they threw away MY leftovers to go, and packaged leftovers for a different customer who'd already left the restaurant! đ”âđ«. The cashier/manager was pleasant and apologetic, but didn't do anything to make amends for all the errors and inconveniences.
My first restaurant experience in B.A. and it left a very bad taste...
Read moreI ordered everything in Spanish. I know the language... But the waiters are MOODY AF... Comoooo es posible que comportan como si no tienen respeto?!?! Atrocious welcome. I asked politely, "Do you have pie de Coco" (le dije todo en español) ... Respuesta Inolvidable: "NO." ooookay, well... Is this a business? Like, dude... tell me what you 'DO' have, and drop the attitude. I almost thought being 'rude' was apart of their shtick... as if it was apart of a show, and they give you attitude with your meal. They had me looking around for Candid Cameras. Also, I coulda' swore this waiter said I was [quote] ordering too much food... Bruh' En serio? FOOD: Okay, let's be fair. So, the horrible welcome probably colors my commentary about the food. The cheesecake? Un error! The fries? Nope. The "Spicy" absolutamente que NO. This menu item named "Spicy," is everything but... There wasn't a spice in that burger for miles. What games are y'all playing? and then the waiter brings me "salt" to wake up the chicken... Umm, no dude. Y'all are gonna' need a VAT of Tabasco to levitate that chicken from its non-spicy stupor. Jesus. While you're at it, call México because no hay picante aca en Buenos Aires. That wasn't a "Spicy Burger," it was a...
