If I could give it zero stars, I would. Over priced, sushi was disgusting and service was terrible. There were as many employees in the restaurant as there were customers (at peak dinner time) and somehow we just saw and watched staff dance around and chat to each other while our drinks sat on the bar ready, for 10 minutes until someone finally clued it and brought them to us… I nearly went up and grabbed them myself. The overpriced cocktail had literally 3 sips of liquid in it and was all ice. we ordered spring roles which were meant to have chicken and vegetables inside…. They were just 4 deep friend pieces of pastry! 0/5 and I would never go back...
Read moreWe went here for sushi last night. We had a few drinks, which were reasonably priced, and the bartender made them with obvious care. No complaints there! The sushi, however, was pretty mediocre. It took quite a long time, despite being one of a handful of tables. The fish was good, but the rice was heavy and not the right texture. My wife absolutely loves pickled ginger. They serve the sushi with pieces of candied ginger, which is not the refreshing treat between bites that we enjoy. They put thought into their menu and have lots of different flavor combinations as well as other options beyond sushi, such as tempuras and ceviches. And because of this quality, it's expensive. The ambiance is "hip nightclub," from the loud music, to the guy with the blond sculpture on his head who greets you at the door, to the manager wore a suit straight out of Miami Vice and had a large nose that only cocain could love.
