Dulce Charlotte tienda — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

My wife and I had brunch here twice this week and were disappointed both times. The food was excellent (the reason for 2 stars instead of just one and the reason we came back for the 2nd time) but the place is very disorganized. Both times we waited at least an hour after ordering before any food arrived. The first time, none of the drinks or pastries we ordered were delivered before the food and, today, the drinks and pastries were never delivered at all. When our bill arrived it still included the cost for those items.

The wait staff was all very friendly and helpful despite clearly being understaffed - I don't think they were the cause of any of the problems. It felt like a problem of poor management and organization to me. If the owners can fix those problems, this place would...

Service here doesn't seem interested to attend to guests. I arrived at the cafe and waited about 15 min trying to catch the waiters (or anyone's!) attention. The waiters glanced over me a couple times but didn't seem interested to do anything other than folding napkins and chatting. Finally got up, approached the waiters and asked for the menu. This was not the first time I had to wait a long time, other times I waited for the bill for ages. There were maybe 6 waiters "working", this really isn't a big cafe, they might work better with fewer maybe. Esta reseña es un poco rara y, a decir verdad, 3 es un poco bajo, le pondría un 3,5 pero no hay posibilidad de poner media estrella. Hubo algunas cosas que estaban muy bien y otras no tanto... Vamos con lo lindo: El lugar es hermoso, muy agradable y la atención es muy buena, los chicos son muy amables, capaz demasiado porque te tratan de Usted y no estoy tan vieja che! ademas de mi chiste, lo malo fue que si bien todo tenia una pinta bàrbara, cuando probamos, nos quedamos a mitad de camino. La croissant con pastelera prometía, pero nos resultó un poco rara, la masa seca y el relleno era una especie de pastelera con consistencia de ricota que no terminaba de tener sentido. Igualmente, seré justa y diré que era interesante. El alfajor de pistacho también era muy prometedor, pero ese corazón de frutos rojos invadió todo lo demás y me empalagó tanto que no lo pude terminar.Pedimos dos flat White que vinieron en tamaño de late. Cuando vi esas tazas tan grandes pregunté si eran latte y me dijeron que no. Pero cuando los probamos, definitivamente tenían demasiada leche. Pedi que me lo hicieran en tamaño de flat, pero me dijeron que el tamaño que seguía era un jarrito y que no me podían dar un tamaño intermedio. Les pedí que me hicieran más café que leche y cuando vino la cuenta me entero que me habían cobrado ese shot extra, lo cual me pareció un gesto bastante... "grasa", por decirlo de algún modo. Ya desde el vamos, están haciendo un flat en un tamaño que no es el adecuado. En cualquier café, esto podría ser un detalle superfluo de una quisquillosa, pero si son café de especialidad y cobran como tal, creo que saber la medida de los distintos cafés es un básico . Así como lo arreglaron con el shot extra zafaba pero no es que me quedé extasiada tampoco .
