Isla sakura — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

We had a mixed experience here. The ambiance was welcoming, and it was a nice touch that they gave out Japanese fans as a parting gift. The food was good, and we enjoyed our meal overall.

However, the service left much to be desired. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and struggled with basic requests. When we asked for extra plates, she told us the other plates were dirty and needed to be washed before she could bring more. We also had to repeatedly request soy sauce and water, which were brought out one at a time over the course of an hour. She was friendly but clearly had too much on her plate, making the experience frustrating at times.

Additionally, she mentioned she had a cold but was unmasked while serving food, which felt concerning.

While I appreciate the effort of the staff, I think some improvements in service—such as better organization and attentiveness—would make this a much better dining experience. Would I return? I’m not sure, but I hope they work on these areas for...

Don't be mistaken on the good rating of this restaurant, as I was. The atmosphere is good, well decorated, but the food is not good, with little options to choose from and some of them are not in the Menu. The bathroom did not have soap. The service was ok, as they had a new person just starting, but the hostess was not professional at all, leaving is uncomfortable. Mi visita a este lugar estuvo lejos de ser satisfactoria. Al llegar, intenté elegir una mesa, pero un miembro del personal me indicó de forma algo descortés que estaba reservada, a pesar de no haber ninguna señal visible que lo indicara. Decidí sentarme donde me indicaron para evitar un altercado.

Pedí el ramen, y aunque el tiempo de espera fue aceptable, el plato en sí fue extremadamente simple y no justificó su precio de 25.000 pesos. Consistía únicamente en fideos, carne, maíz y huevo, en una porción bastante reducida. Considero que la relación calidad-precio es muy desproporcionada, ya que hay muchas mejores opciones de ramen disponibles a un costo inferior.

Es evidente que se trata de un lugar nuevo con una organización deficiente. Aunque el personal fue amable, la gestión general es un caos. Noté una falta de sistema para llevar un registro de los pedidos por mesa; de hecho, en mi caso, tuvieron que acercarse a preguntarme qué había pedido para poder cobrarme, lo que indica un manejo erróneo de las cuentas.
