Ok just finished my mirutaki experience!
Wait time : 40mins AC: cant feel it, so hot in here
We ordered: Edamame: standard, pretty good for Argentinia
Sashimi: Ste loves it! He said really good fish and good variety
Ramen: Tonkatsu- ana Shoyu- steven
Noodle: they made it in house so i would say im glad that im finally eating ramen with ramen noodle, not spaghetti noodle 😂. Is it authentic japanese tonkatsu thin noodle? No its not. But its good enough.
Broth: Tonkatsu- my broth i think is too light for tonkatsu, the flavor is there but not strong enough to me. Shoyu- this one is closer to what I expected from shoyu ramen, i think i prefer the shoyu over the tonkatsu. Steven agreed he likes his more than mine.
Egg: yes! Good tamago onsen style
Chasu: wish it was charred/torch. Otherwise its tender and has good base flavor
Overall- Good ramen for argentina esp they legit made their own noodle! Broth could be stronger. We only been to 3 other ramen restaurants so far and this is the best we had so far 😁
Oh price total we paid: 20,000 pesos...
Read moreI had dinner at Mirutaki around 20:00 on a Wednesday. The place was already pretty full and I could only find a spot at the counter, which is also more entertaining. Note that when I left there were many people outside waiting for seats to become available again.
I was brought a "welcoming" little pickled treat: that surprised me positively. Service has been police and pretty fast throughout the whole dinner (as in all ramen places in Japan).
Prices were in line with comparable restaurants in Palermo: didn't find them very cheap but they were also definitely not too expensive.
Food: leaving this part for last and only for those reading till here. For me both karaage and tonkotsu weren't as I had them in Japan from a taste perspective... Maybe it's to adapt them to local taste or because local ingredients are just different than in Japan. BUT: i liked the taste either way and dishes were presented nicely, therefore the experience was still positive.
All in all: Mirutaki is a good place to try Japanese cuisine and I can...
Read moreDelicious and fast! I came with my family and we had takoyaki for appetizer, very unique, umami octopus flavor and creamy texture inside, is crunchy on the outside, makes a perfect entree and has sweet japanese mayo on top to make the perfect combo. For the main course, we had the Tonkotsu ramen. It was an amazing experience; rich, creamy, garlicky broth, chewy long noodles, brown seasoned perfectly cooked boiled egg, umami seaweed on the side, and mouthwatering slices of flavorful meat. Truly a flavorful experience and a big highlight of Fukoka cuisine. Lastly, for desert, we had the Japanese cheesecake. It is truly like no other cheesecake, has a cakey texture without being dry, served with fruits that make the perfect combo and jam that is not too impactful that it covers the cheesecake flavor, not too cheesy and has a hint of vanilla essence. If you go at 7:00, the wait will not be too long and you will get your food in rapid time. If you are in Buenos Aires, this is an experience i...
