Well. Not great. 👎🏻

Came here for lunch and was let down. We were seated promptly and the interior is clean, cool design, and well maintained, however, that was the end of the positives.

Our waiter was rude. First, we were in the middle of ordering drinks and he said he could come back for our food order. I was like no, we are ready. He took our order. He came back with cold drinks. I did see on the menu that they charge 1.900 pesos for bread, water, etc for each person. My mom asked for water but my dad and I didnt specifically ask for the water. After some time, i called him back over and asked about the water. I said aren't we all supposed to get a glass of water. He said yes, but he doesn't bring the water until someone asks for him to bring it. Hmm.. sounds kinda like a scam. If someone doesn't notice the note at the bottom of the menu and doesn't ask for water, they are charged for it without ever receiving it?

Now to the food. The quality of the pasta was good, but there were issues. My mom got the ossobucco cappelletti. It basically came with no sauce and no flavor apart from meat. It was also not hot which was weird, cuz her plate itself was quite hot. For my dish, I got the gnocchi dish which said it came with bacon. The sauce was missing salt, flavor, and the bacon. Upon noticing there was no bacon in it I asked the waiter and said isn't this supposed to come with bacon? He said yes. Then I kid you not, he went to the kitchen and brought a small cup of bacon for me to put into my dish myself. Huh? I have been all over the world and have never experienced the chef messing up a dish and having them bring the missing ingredient to my table to add myself. The sauce needs to be mixed together to bring out the flavor of the bacon. Upon placing the bacon cup in front of my dish he saw my shock and then asked me do you want me to take it to the chef to mix together? Umm, Yes please. I would just like the dish made how it was supposed to be made.

Finally, at the end of our meal, a different server came to our table and started playing wine glasses in front of us. Huh? I asked our server what was going on. He brushed me off and I continued asking why this other guy came to our table. He said the other waiter was confused and went to the wrong table.

At the end of all this, we ended up paying $80 for this experience. Do...

My wife and I came to this restaurant with our 11 month old daughter as a recommendation from one of our local friends. We were in the mood for pasta with and ambiance and this place did not disappoint. We came at 9 pm and the place was packed and we didn’t have a reservation but Pablo said don’t worry I’m sure we can find a place for you and started to play with my daughter. This isn’t something you see too often in my experience , we really felt welcomed. Once seated, which didn’t take my time, we received a basket of focaccia bread and the waiter took our drink order. My wife ordered the draft cider and I had a passion fruit caipiroska which was delicious. They brought us a glass of water for our daughter but obviously she saw how colorful my drink was and wanted that. Pablo took notice and cheered my baby up by making some gestures and said she needs an orange juice and came back with that for her. The attention to detail is like no other here. My wife was indecisive on what to eat , I ordered the capeletti stuffed with osobucco and she the cheese ravioli. When we got our plate which took around 15 minutes I let her try mine and then she tried hers and was obsessed with mine. I told her let’s order another one but she didn’t want our food to get cold and said it’s ok. When Pablo came by I asked , how long would it take to order another one of mine since she loved it. He instantly said don’t worry I’ll get it out quick for you. Literally 2 mins later we had the other plate. Mind you, Pablo is not our waiter he seems to be the manager of the waiters but he went above and beyond any service I have ever had. I recommend this place to anyone in the area that wants good drinks, amazing food and an unbeatable service. We will defiantly be...

The best I can say about this restaurant is is the decor and museum type atmosphere. It wasn’t a warm atmosphere dark and hard to see . This was mid afternoon Sunday. Menus were in both Spanish and English . Don’t understand the charge for silverware napkin water salt ( which we weren’t offered even though u were charged for it ) when my daughter questioned it waiter was short on the rude side saying like you didn’t ask for it … I did however and was only one receiving it. Cold bread dropped off at table with no spreads while we waited for order . I felt like our waiter was cold and aloof like we were a bother and I was floating on an island to care for myself . The meals finally came in heated metal plates . Mine was just warm with some of the potato dough seemingly borderline el dente. My osso bucco dish bland at best . My daughter’s gnocchi dish had no bacon in it and when we called the waiter he went to kitchen and brought back the bacon for my daughter to put in . What is that all about! We had to request it be taken back to be mixed and even then really? No warm up . Very cold non caring atmosphere and waiter vibes . We paid good money for each dish. $$-$$$. A majority disappointment. Being I speak English I didn’t have a comfort level to complain to manager. I would not return here . Our leftovers to go were haphazardly packed up in a bag and when I opened it when I got home they weren’t even sealed. HORRIBLE! Upon leaving one of the waiters slipped and fell down steps out as it was raining and they were slippery. I hope he is okay . Take heed going down steps … overpriced ,cold and distant… food disappointing . I was looking for an Italian experience when I walked in with the decor . Definitely fell short, left...

Napoles is an Italian restaurant with an eclectic aesthetic and an exhibit/decore of tastefully curated antiquities - where many of the items are larger than life! Including ancient marble, ceramic & wood sculptures, cast iron artifacts, glass display cases and ambient amber lighting along with the aroma of pizzas and handmade pastas - combine to make the magical & unique full-sensory dining atmosphere. The prices are reasonable by Buenos Aires standards for finer dining, the beverage selection is divers and the service is relax-paced (also par for the course in Buenos Aires); Overall I felt the friendly efficient service from reception to table is noticeably part of thier tastefully designed dining experience. Our friends made dinner reservations from the USA before we arrived in BA with a party of 4 people for a birthday celebration; Then we ordered: pizza, salad, ravioli, gnocchi, and fizzy sangria. The portions were large enough that we where too full to order dessert. Antiquities and fashionable clothes are also for sale, so be sure to walk among the antiquities - and maybe you will find a treasure! We heard of this venue via the owner of our favorite Mid-Century Modern antique dealer in the heart of San Telmo and so Napole is the conception of his father (who is also an ?antique dealer), which explains this interesting dining concept. If you’re in Buenos Aires, be sure to try this venue!
