Another disappointment for betting on the "La Chica del Brunch" review on Instagram. I know she's paid for that, but she should be more honest with her followers. The place has a great atmosphere and nice service. When it comes to the dishes, the empanadas were just nothing like the real salteñas (I've been there, and no variant could taste like the ones they serve) since the meat was just not eatable, the quality is doubtful. "Tamal," ta mal (not good), lacking of flavor, salt, soul, just sad. The wrapping was nice and pretty, nice disguise, I'd say. The "milanesa de ternera a la pizza" was just not from that day. We could not take more than 4 bites cause it tasted a bit rotten, and it would have been a hell the next day. The "entraña" was excellent, though. There is nothing to complain about it. Overall, don't take what "la chica del brunch" says for granted. Her purposes seem to be far different ($$$) from when she started, I'm afraid. As for the restaurant, it's just another failed attempt to bring northern food to the capital. You can't just change tradition to adapt it to "porteños"...
Read moreWhere I begin: the firts time we come here we wait like hour and half for a table, we didnt had reservation so it was understandable. For the next time we got the reservation, btw, it's wasnt easy (you need to create a user in some platform and add your mail, for getting spam from the restaurant ofc) but we had to wait like 20 minutes just for nothing because the people of the restaurant didn't reserved our table (and we had a couple behind with the same issue). Terrible service and attention. And for other hand, the tematic is a joke, there nothing "peña" related, just two poster and nothing else, is just another basic Palermo's restaurant. If you want a REAL PEÑA experience, this isnt the place, even if you want just eat here because, maybe like my case and for what I see other, they don't care and your reservation...

Service is chaotic and very unorganized. We waited outside for an hour after they put our names on the wait list. Then, when they let us in and we got our table 20 minutes past and no one came to tend to us. No menu, no questions, nothing. Later, we asked for the menu, literally stopping someone passing by, she said: "Only drinks now."
After an hour and a half waiting, nobody cared to tell us that the kitchen would close. Food should be good, as the place was packed, but service and the overall experience definitely won't be a memorable one. There are too many great places in the city to go through something like this again, and I wouldn't...
