This almost completely hidden and forgotten Museum is interesting in the way it tells an almost private family history. That very same history is interesting and on top of it all the actual house is beautiful. Walking around in this house is very relaxing and at the same time you can witness the history of the family. Before leaving the Museum it is a good thing to sit for a while in the garden. Although close to the major streets of Buenos Aires, it is very quite and refreshing to sit and relax before heading back into the streets. If you are interested in history you won’t be disappointed after visiting...

Today was Casa Museo Ricardo Rojas. Rojas was a writer who developed the neologism of Eurindia: the proposition that the existence of indigenous and European influenced the Argentine identity and national being. Eurindia represents the harmonious fusion of European and American races and cultures. The architect Ángel Guido was in charge of expressing this concept in the house: he built European-style structures and applied Hispano-Incan motifs to them. There was also a painting of Prince in Purple with a serving tray. Apparently he...

This was a pretty cool museum art filled stop. It was nearby my stay and I read in one tip to not go out of my way to stop by here but if I was on the area it was a cool place to stop by. I was within a 7 minute walk from the cafe I visited so I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. It was a short experience but the architecture was really cool. Nothing I would go to again but for a one time deal it was really nice. Also it’s free so that’s cool.
