SHAMI SHAWARMA ABASTO — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Clean, modern but very nicely decorated, with a great Near East feeling, the music is kept at comfortable level (and if you feel it was too loud they will lower it). The staff is courteous and attentive. The food is fresh and very well made, authentic and truthful to its origins. The Shawarma was simply perfect. The Baklava was moist and delicious, with a touch of originality. The Lemon and Mint flavoured water (Naná) that is available for purchase is a great option that complements the food. Restaurant atmosphere falls short even though efforts has been made to make it look good. Large and open space with a lot of noise from outside traffic. It feels like a fast food place. Cutlery was plastic (that actually broke).

Chicken Shawarma was rather blend/dry with sauce only on the top (they give you extra sauce if you ask). Plain salad and tomatoes.

Falafel salad had relly good falafels but rest was just a bowl of plain salad and tomatoes.

Tabbouleh was really poor. Far to little parsley and lacking other seasoning...

I stop by this fast food shawarma shop on my way to Abasto Shopping. The place is clean and large and has a cozy theme (at least to me). It serves labanese food. I ordered the shawarma cumbo and it was nice. I feel the beef could have been juicier becuase it was slightly chewy . The menu has other labanese bites like falafel, tabola, humus and baqlawa.

I came to this place twice. The first time I gave it 4/5 but the second time I visited I had to come back and re-rated them 5/5 it could be...
