The little Wolf is the Walter and Nadia's culinary gem in Calafate, we decided on the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was delicious 😋. It is a small restaurant with personalized chef driven menu based on local availability. Welcomed with a glass of dried cider followed by four steps starting with a red tuna carpaccio, red vinaigrette and sprout salad paired with rose cabernet franc, it continued with grilled lamb gizzard, mashed beans and leeks paired with a red cabernet franc. We were welcomed very spontaneously at Volpi Bistro, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The sommelier guided us to a fantastic bottle of white wine—an excellent choice, especially since we aren’t too familiar with new world wines. Every dish was a delight, with the lamb and dessert standing out as close to perfection. The service was incredibly friendly; we were greeted with warm handshakes upon arrival and given a similarly personal farewell.
