SIBΛRIS ʀᴇꜱᴛᴀᴜʀᴀɴᴛᴇ — Restaurant in Municipio de Córdoba

In my 4 week stay in Cordoba, my partner and I ate here 4 times (3 in the SIBARIS Restaurant and once in the less formal restaurant in the hotel lobby). This place is without a doubt my favourite restaurant so far in Argentina, and in my top 10 worldwide! All the food we tried was amazing, everything had so much flavour and generous portions. We ordered the grilled & roasted entrecote, vegetable sides, the goat with sweetbreads, 3 pasta dishes AND 3 desserts over our visits. Everything was 11/10!! You also get very high quality snacks/horderves before both the lunch and dinner service (dinner has more snacks + complimentary sparkling wine). Wine list is so extensive, and the serves really know their stuff and will help with selections if you want. They also can speak English, and the level of attention is immaculate. If you are in Córdoba you must dine at SIBARIS. The food was incredible, service outstanding! The tasting menu looked good, but so did the regular menu; we opted for the latter. The langostinos appetizer was delicious and creative, as was the salmon gravlax (crazy citéis flavors!). Superb! The entrees were just as outstanding - the merluza fish and the “ojo de bife.” Expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Héctor, our server, made incredible suggestions, explained everything perfectly and timed our meal with perfection. The cheese plate at the end was icing-on-the-cake! We were the first person in The restaurant as we had an airplane to catch at midnight. It was an “oh by the way” recommendation from a Tour Guide and we only went because it was close to our hotel. What a lucky break! Every meal was awesome. All the unexpected amuse bouche delights were both unexpected, imaginative and delicious. Among the meals, i heartily recommend are the pork or Burrata starter, any of the pastas or gnocchi, and of course the steak. The service and overall ambience were worthy of a Michelin star. The overall price was not close to a Michelin star price so maybe one would hope they don’t get the star. But...
