The pasta was good but the service was dreadful.
After being seated, we had to wait 40 minutes just to see the menu. We weren't even asked for our drinks order during that time.
We were under the impression that there was no menu – you just had to wait until the chef came round and told you what was available that day. But as we only speak a little Spanish, we were given menus, so why we had to wait 40 minutes for that, I don't know!
Once we'd finally ordered, the pasta dishes came out quickly (aided, no doubt, by the microwave in the kitchen that was constantly beeping the entire time we were there). After finishing those dishes, we made the mistake of ordering dessert – cheesecake, which took far longer than necessary to arrive and was mediocre.

It was one of the best pasta dishes I have eaten in my life and I travel to Italy at least twice a year. The owner and staff were so friendly and managed to give great service even though the place was so busy. We had tiramisu for dessert, which wasn’t necessary as the main courses were such huge portions, but we couldn’t resist and it was exceptional. An expensive meal for backpackers on a budget but beyond worth it and I will be dreaming of coming back one...

The place has a nice atmosphere and feels cosy. The food was tasty, it tasted fresh with good quality ingredients.
