La Cantina de Oveja — Restaurant in Municipio de San Carlos de Bariloche

We came to this restaurant as we were impressed by the reviews, but unfortunately this was not our experience. We were kept waiting for 45 minutes before we even placed our order and this was after trying to call waiters over numerous times. We ordered drinks and empanadas because we thought they would be quick. We waited another 25 minutes before we got our drinks, and that was after asking where they were twice. When we went to ask our young male waiter how much long it will be, he responded 'we are not McDonalds' and still didn't tell me how long it would be. But then when my coke arrived, it came in the bottle with no glass or ice, just like McDonalds. Also one of us did not get our drink, I had to go to the bar to ask where it was and bought it back myself. The attitude of the young waiter was very rude and he gave no apology for the wait. Another table that arrived 50 minutes after us got their drinks and food the same time as us. We are visitors from overseas and this is the worst service we have had in our whole trip...

The empanadas are fantastic and some of the best in Argentina… and we’ve tried a lot of empanadas this year. They are baked instead of fried and there are multiple flavors with good flavor! They also serve kombucha, which is somewhat unique and a huge win in my book! Good prices compared to some of the pricier restaurants in Bariloche and the empanadas have a decent amount of filling, 3 was sufficient for me as a meal. You won’t regret...

Hay un camarero que es un listo, cuidado. Entramos el lunes 18 a la noche y pedimos dos cervezas con la intención de tomar un último trago antes de volver a casa. Al elegir nuestras cervezas hubo algunos gestos extraños que inicialmente no entendimos entre los dos camareros pero ninguno puso pegas para servirnos (al contrario, fueron amables y dispuestos). No le dimos importancia cuando nos sirvieron en vaso desechable de plástico pero al acercarnos a una de las mesas para sentarnos con nuestra bebida el camarero se acercó para indicarnos que debíamos abandonar el local porque estaban cerrando -todo esto con el bar completamente iluminado por dentro y por fuera, la música sonando y ningún signo o advertencia previa, de hecho había varios grupos de clientes aún sentados en sus mesas-. Básicamente el tipo podría haber indicado que por estar fuera de horario ya no podía atendernos, pero prefirió servirnos y desalojarnos inmediatamente después. Además es chistoso, no dudó en hacer broma sobre lo linda que igualmente estaba la noche al sacarnos afuera, lo cual era cierto, así que para otra ocasión me quedaré en la terraza de Antares, donde los camareros son más confiables y...
