Just horrible food. My husband and I sat to eat dinner at the end of our 7 Lakes drive from Bariloche. The restaurant had a good view and we were starving. I ordered the "Patagonian lamb" on the grill. It arrived as two large bones with minimal meat. Since I was starving, I took a bite of whatever meat I could access and the first thing I thought was that the lamb was reheated vs being freshly grilled. It also tasted like dry, days-old leftovers. I entered the restaurant to speak to the manager. He admitted that the restaurant's grill was not lit. He also confirmed what I suspected; that the meat was three days old from being first cooked, then frozen, dethawed and then served to me. He also said that the meat arrived from the vendor frozen, making the meat they served me twice frozen. Yuck! He then asked me if I wanted to select something else, so since our drive back to our hotel was 4 hours away, I picked the trout. Another terrible food! I took one bite and felt sick to my stomach. The manager informed me that the trout came from a trout farm frozen, was thawed and then cooked and served to me. He didn't charge me for the meat or fish but regardless, I felt sick to my stomach leaving this horrible restaurant. I do not recommend this tourist trap to anyone! Stay away! I am really torn reading all the reviews. Some of them are definitely robots but some other bad reviews seem real. We parked near this restaurant and at first we looked at the rating and did not go. We spent 50 minutes roaming around and could not find any place serving decent food at the unheard hour of 6pm. We were super tired and very very hungry. We returned to this restaurant out of desperation and were welcomed right away - they said they have full menu and waiter was very nice. It was 5 of us and we ordered enormous amount of food. Well, it was our best Patagonian meal so far (and it’s our third month roaming Patagonia). We ordered Patagonian tasting plate as appetizer and the choice of meats was excellent. My medium rare piece as a main dish was tender and juicy. My husband ordered a lamb and it was delicious also. Kids were happy with their pasta. Side dishes were huge (purée, rice, salad). We had an unexpectedly fantastic dinner with a nice view. Next day we ended up needing early dinner again and decided to come back to the restaurant. It was a good meal also. All in all, do not hesitate to come to this place - I think you will have a great time. Tuvimos una muy mala experiencia en este restaurante. Mi comida estaba fría cuando vinieron a traérmela. El camarero dejó de venir y fue difícil conseguir hablar con alguien del personal. Cuando por fin conseguimos hablar con alguien se llevó mi plato. No me devolvieron la comida hasta pasados 20 minutos. Mientras tanto, mi hermana ya había terminado de comer y yo seguía sin recuperar mi plato. El camarero pasó por delante de nuestra mesa y vio que yo no tenía plato. No preguntó nada al respecto, aunque debería haberlo hecho en ese momento. Como nadie hablaba inglés, hubo un malentendido sobre lo que necesitaba o había pasado exactamente. Aun así, no me dieron la comida. Nuestro camarero inicial y el camarero que me había quitado el plato no volvieron a venir e incluso parecían evitar deliberadamente nuestra mesa. Nadie se disculpó e incluso se enfadaron con nosotros. Según ellos, deberíamos haber pedido mi comida. Absurdo sin más. Al final me devolvieron el plato y seguía tibio. Finalmente, después de plantear repetidamente lo incorrecto de esta situación y lo antipático que era para el cliente, nos hicieron un descuento en mi comida. Era un 50% de descuento para este plato. We had a very bad experience at this restaurant. My food was cold when they came to bring it. The waiter stopped coming and it was difficult to get hold of someone from the staff. When we finally managed to get hold of someone she took away my plate. I didn't get my food back for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, my sister had already finished eating and I still didn't have my plate back. Our over came past our table and saw that I had no plate. He did not ask anything about this, even though he should have asked and checked this himself at the time. My sister then eventually went to ask where my food was. Since no one spoke English, there was a misunderstanding about what exactly was needed or had happened and we were not helped. Still I did not get any food. Our initial waiter and the waiter who had taken away my plate did not come around again and even seemed to deliberately avoid our table. No one apologised, took no responsibility for the event and were even angry with us. According to them, we should have just asked for my food. Just absurd. Eventually I got my plate back and it was still lukewarm. Finally, after repeatedly bringing up how wrong this situation was and how customer-unfriendly this was, we got a discount on my food. This was 50% off for just this dish, not even the entire bill. While we were happy with this concession, we actually felt this was a very substandard concession as it was a horrible experience and we lost a lot...
