Yasaman Tsaghkadzor's Restaurant — Restaurant in Tsakhkadzor

Like a peasant dressed in princes clothes, this tastefully designed restaurant serves very AVERAGE food. Don't get me wrong, I love peasant food, just don't charge me prince prices for it! Where's the creativity and ingenuity? Where is that touch to put you just above the rest? Again, the atmosphere is stellar and it is clear significant thought and money was put into it. I wish I could say the same about the food. Whatever expectations you have upon entry, may be abruptly altered when a grim-faced waiter approaches you and places a menu in front of you. From there starts a puzzling and disappointing journey realizing that things are no different than the worn out place down the street. This one just smells newer.

Waiters give the vibe they just want to go home. The lamb bbq was unbearably salty, and was not the only thing improperly seasoned. Then the awkward moment when a waiter came over and tediously transferred some of our food to a smaller serving dish (perhaps because they ran out of the bigger ones and needed it?). And one pet-peeve, a place like this should have a pepper grinder...but instead we are stuck with flavorless gray powder out of a shaker. Would I visit here again? Yes, and hopefully by then I can edit...

We had a truly unforgettable dinner at YASAMAN Restaurant in Tsaghkadzor. The food was absolutely delicious — we ordered a variety of local appetizers and pickles, the beef borscht soup with fresh bread, and for the main courses, we enjoyed grilled veal, chicken kebab, and a veal salad. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The wild berry lemonade was especially refreshing and a highlight of the meal.

The ambiance of the restaurant was luxurious and cozy, especially with the heating on during the cold evening. One of the biggest surprises was their exceptionally beautiful and well-equipped kids’ playroom, where our child had an amazing time — a special thanks to the kind young lady there, I believe her name was Lina.

Our server, Tave (if I remember correctly), was incredibly kind, attentive, and always had a warm smile. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner dining experience yesterday, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing waitress, Tatev. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel welcome and truly taken care of, despite also attending to other tables.

Tatev’s service was impeccable. She was warm, attentive, and professional throughout even though we are Indians she was able to communicate and understand easily. She took the time to recommend a few dishes, and every single one was outstanding. Her suggestions truly elevated our meal, and we’re so glad we trusted her!

What stood out the most was how gracefully she managed a busy service while still ensuring we were never left waiting. It’s rare to find someone with that level of dedication and poise. Tatev truly deserves recognition and promotion—she’s a gem and made our evening memorable.
