Barnacle Bill — Restaurant in Adelaide

Fast and friendly service, there's dining and on site parking, & a short walk from the bus stop. Edit: I've become a regular here and they never disappoint. The cooking is just fantastic and I've never had issues. I've also tried another barny bills and found that the coleslaw here is much better, taste fresher and doesn't have any overpowering flavours that ruin the whole slaw. Love it. Edit: hate to mention it but I do agree with another review about the Munno store, except that I was dealt with friendly service there too from a lady. They may have been understaffed due to lack of customers but it seemed service was slow... That's where the not so nice coleslaw came from

Edit: Fiona who claimed little to no parking... It's a shared carpark which I've never had trouble finding a spot no matter if it was lunch, late arvo or evening. It's also literally next to the shopping centre car park which on the barnacle bills side, is only ever packed on what, boxing day sale? The shrimp situation was...

My prawns were undercooked. I took only one of the prawn packs back to show them and point it out. The 'Manager' was very unpleasant and denied they were undercooked. She declared that they are pink when raw and that was her explanation as to why they were translucent, which she says is cooked. Any translucent fish or prawn is undercooked!!!! Right or wrong that was it she said. Then barrelled at me as to what I want from them as though the cost was the problem!!! I hadn't eaten a full prawn and only about half dozen chips, however, and certainly should have been offered a refund or replacement at least. I wouldn't have taken it but offer should have been made. There is UNSATISFACTORY customer service at this Barnacle Bill and they have put me off going to any of them now. I think she should eat them!!! B.B.s a big NO...

Went for lunch on the 6 th of September 2018 ,we dined in.I had to go an ask the lady server if she could clean the tables as 5 of them still had plates of food from previous diners she said they were busy but called her from talking to another staff member from the kitchen , she cleaned one table left the rest still, our food came out I asked where my drink was she pointed to the fridge and said in there , I asked if there was any salt she replied on the front counter absolutely horrible un welcoming attitude , then my meal came with ten chips and the chicken breast crumbs were that hard almost in eat able , then to top it off the plate I was served with had a big chip and sharp edge , It was the most horrible barnacle bills meal and dine in experience I've ever had, the staff on that day should be ashamed...
