We booked for 3 for a Saturday dinner. Ordered the $59/pp option which included 6 courses PLUS desserts! Everything was seriously so yummy:
Sticky brown rice & shiitake (asked for vegetarian option) ⭐️ Green beans, garlic, shredded egg yolk 3 bao(s): braised pork belly, crumbed tofu, and katsu chicken ⭐️ Chilli beef salad, snow pea sprouts, coriander ⭐️ Taiwanese fried chicken, blood orange sauce ⭐️ San choy bow Desserts: affogato and lemon tarts ⭐️ We also ordered matcha latte for drinks.⭐️
The dishes came in three waves: the first half listed above, the second half, and then desserts (after we had some rest). It was a rainy night so the place was not too busy. Food came really quickly. We were slightly full by the first wave but still managed to eat almost everything at the end because everything was delicious. To be honest, I was a bit worried before we came, as a Taiwanese myself I was hesitant about the boujee look of street food classics. I was proved otherwise as I definitely felt the love and effort put into the curation of their food :)
The staff were so friendly and attentive! They checked in on our dining pace and satisfaction, never rushed us, and were so sweet when we asked them to take photos for us 💕💕💕 We loved the overall ambience, super cute interior and cutlery style. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended...
Read moreI recently discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant, and I have to say, the food is absolutely amazing! I would give it a solid 5-star rating without hesitation.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including the baos, which were incredibly fluffy and packed with flavor. The cocktails were also very impressive, each with its own unique taste that we really enjoyed. The grilled flank steaks were cooked perfectly and had an amazing flavor that was truly unforgettable. The salt n pepper squid was equally as tasty, cooked just right with the perfect amount of seasoning. And the satay corn ribs were a hit with the whole group and great for sharing.
Overall, we had a fantastic time here, and the food was definitely the highlight of our experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service that made us feel welcome.

Read moreLunch at the recently opened @bobibao_au (Lex and friends went without me because I was working 🤦🤦). Good food but the food took a little while to come out. Maybe they were still working out some teething issues since they've just opened. Will return to try again in the future! . Fried chicken with waffles: really nicely presented in a way that's more than just 'chicken and waffles' 🙂. Delicious fried chicken, and the waffles were good too. Can't complain! . Shallot pancakes with vegetable floss and extra taiwanese sausage: the pancake was excellent! And it's interesting that the vegetable floss was similar to pork floss 🙂. Very creative! . Taro sando with soy dabao (crispy mock meat): don't think we've ever had soy dabao before, but it tasted great! The taro sando was also excellent 😍😍. . Mushroom with edamame hummus, with extra soy dabao: such a healthy dish that is full of yummy ingredients and flavours 🙂. . Drinks: Wintermelon latte: not sure if it really tasted like wintermelon, but it was novel and...
