My mission in life it to find the best artisan bakeries in Australia and The Lost Loaf is one of them. For everyone who have had French pastries in France you probably rave about how good it was and flaky the croissants were, The Lost Loaf has nailed it. Now I have lost the count of how many times I have been here because I have never ever had anything below average, everything is perfect. The croissants, the almond croissants, creme brulee donunts, pistachio scrolls, the peanut cookies and the baguettes are absolutely amazing and leave you wanting to come back for more. It is amazing that this bakery is always consistent which is proved by the long lines they have and how quickly everything sells out before lunchtime or sometimes at 11am. Honestly if you want to try their stuff get in early and make sure you don't eat dinner the night before so you can eat your way through...

Love everything in this little bakery ๐Ÿ‘Œโค๏ธ Small baguette is my #1, there is no better in Adelaide and around! Actually, their vegetarian baguette is also #1 - kind of hard to choose one. Their Vegetarian Baguette is very tasty and is made of fresh ingredients, I doubt there is better one in Adl. Simply said EVERYTHING they do is really good, very good ๐Ÿ˜‹ Girls are always nice, friendly and polite. Occasionally I forget to pick up my order but they make sure to text me etc. All in all - very happy with baked goods and service๐Ÿ‘

05/02/25 - TLL just moved to Plant 3 and now they have much more space for lots of beautiful and tasty baked goodies ๐Ÿ˜‹ Also started serving coffee. My coffee โ˜•๏ธ is perfect; just the way I like it ๐Ÿ‘ I think that having our lovely bakery there in Plant3 is win-win for all involved!!! Keep up the good work!! Congrats and good luck to all TLL...

First time I visited the place,my friends told me that the food there was nice. It was Saturday morning, Aug.23,roughly around 1030 .I've noticed that many people was eating, so I said to myself, Food might be great, but when we are close to the counter, I've noticed a woman, wearing a light top, short hair, using her bare hand touching all the bread and pastries with out gloves. I was so disappointed, other girl was wearing gloves when picking bread,I didn't get any thing when I saw that, only my friend get 4 items. I dont think I will go back there to get anything or...

If there's a better bakery in Adelaide I certainly am not aware of it. The bread here is to die for... there's often a line up when the place opens and they often sell out so my advice is to get in early. Hard to fault any of their bread range... my advice is to try all of them. Aside from their wonderful bread, they sell some amazing French butter.. a little more expensive but worth every cent. Their wagyu beef rolls are amazing but if you want one get in early, they are often sold out by lunch time. It's so great that Adelaide has places like this.

The Lost Loaf has been recently relocated to Plant 3 Bowden. From my perspective, they are one of the few top bakeries available in Adelaide. Their prices are quite reasonable. They have sweet pastries, cakes and breads. They also offer coffees, with plenty of sittings available, either indoor or outdoor. Within Plant 3, there are a brewery, a bar, a flower / plant shop etc. Plant 3 has a semi-transparent roof, so it's bright and warm when there is sunshine outside. A perfect place for enjoying a morning coffee with a delicious pastry.๐Ÿ˜‹
