Disappointed in the whole experience! Service was bland and almost unfriendly... suggest you don't push my salad tub at me and maybe make eye contact and thank customers? Young lad cutting my chicken into 8th was really showing off for his two school mates who popped in ...demonstrating his "skills" on my chook. Result was a butchered, room temp chook, missing most of its skin and stuffing and a wing piece. Really unappetising to look at. The stuffing has an overwhelming rosemary taste to it that took over the chook. The chips were well under cooked and almost chalky in texture. The coleslaw was under dressed and limp. Only nice bit was the gravy!! Next time I'll save my $36.00 and just buy a tub of gravy, pop into Foodland for a chook and pop some frozen chips in the oven. Have tried to order from here twice in the last month. Both times around 7:50-8pm. Sign on door and online trading hours both state they are open until 8:30. First time we were refused in store as they had started cleaning early. We thought we'd try again over the phone a few weeks later as we needed a quick late fix for dinner after evening sports. No one answered the phone after trying nine times over a 15 minute period. Seems they may need to update their trading hours as this seems like false advertising and is pretty frustrating. Have been going here for over 10 years. Looks like I will be ordering elsewhere...

I've just purchased and half consumed some chips and chicken from here. The chips were terrible. They were bland and appeared to be re cooked. Also many of them were full of grease with no potato to be seen. I have been using this place for over 13 years as the quality of the chips has been the draw card for me and my family. Fresh chips cooked in beer batter with the right amount of chicken salt. Many many locals know that this place does the best chips in the area.
