Zambrero Blackwood — Restaurant in Adelaide

I’ve been dining with Zambrero since the first store in Adelaide opened almost 10 years ago and in that time I’ve visited many restaurants in the group, across all states, but since my first visit to the Blackwood store in Feb 2023, I’ve made it my dedicated store for my weekly Zambrero hit. All of the staff are super friendly and Peter the store manager has made myself and my friends all feel so welcome it’s like we’re part of the family, and we all look forward to our weekly visits. No other Zambrero stores in the country come close in comparison to the Blackwood experience with Peter and his team, and I’ll always go out of my way to visit the Blackwood store for that reason. I normally love zambreros but this location lets it down, been here twice both well before closing time only to see no meats in the glass area, one time they said they were out of beef and the other time they said they were out of chicken, both times they took my food out the back to put the meat filling in it, and the serving were extremely stingy, service was lacking and the workers simply seemed like they were irritated by the fact you even wanted to order there or were too busy chatting with the other workers, so disappointing to have a food place that I like so much be let down twice in a row, would rather drive further to a different chain, if they can’t...

Zambreros is, in my opinion, one of the tastiest yet healthy takeaway food establishments in Blackwood. Zambreros ethos: “For every burrito or bowl purchased at Zambrero, a meal is donated to someone in need in the developing world via our Plate 4 Plate initiative;” shows great social conscience. I could happily eat a different meal from this store most nights. My personal favourite is the Burrito IQ. All Freshly made! Great management, staff and, service.
