This is by far the best Indian restaurant that I have ever been to in Adelaide. From super tasty food, dessert, to wonderful service and atmosphere, this place definitely is my go-to place for Indian food now. Now it's time for the in-depth review: Food: 10/10, The soft, savory butter chicken and garlic naan combination is just heavenly. My partner and I always get butter chicken at every place we go, but we have never had such soft, juicy, and tasty butter chicken before. The food also didn't feel heavy in our stomach after we finished like most other places. Service: 10/10, the owner was truly nice and friendly. He checked in on us to see if the food was to our liking. He also let us try a whole bunch of sweets to make a selection before we purchase. Atmostphere: 8/10, The decorations and warm lighting of the restaurant really made it cosy and nice. Every family table around me was just enjoying their food and having a good time. There was one minor nick in my experience, the restaurant has one toilet located outside, when I came in it ran out of soap and wasn't too sanitary. It is understandable for such a small premise packed with customer, I'll just remember to bring my own hand sanitizer next time. All in all, this is a wonderful place to eat your fill. Definitely will recommend!

Absolutely Bullshit. The Kadai Paneer was drenched in oil, with about 80% of the dish being paneer chunks and hardly any gravy. It felt like eating something frozen—completely lacking in taste and freshness. I’ve had better food in the most modest street stalls in India. To make matters worse, the menu uploaded on Google is outdated. Prices have gone up by around $4 per item, so if you're ordering a few dishes, you’re suddenly paying $15–$20 more than expected. I called the restaurant to point this out, and the staff was indifferent. I was told that public reviews can be “managed” — instead of simply updating the online menu to avoid confusion. Overall, the food quality, pricing transparency, and customer service were all very poor. I would not recommend this place.

I recently ordered the Veg Biryani from your restaurant, and I must say I am extremely disappointed with what I received. What I got was clearly the last box of rice, which had been scorched and was nearly inedible. It was evident that it had been sitting around for a while, as the texture was off and the flavor was lacking. As a paying customer, I expected much better quality and attention to detail, especially for a dish like biryani, which should be fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning the standards of your restaurant. I hope this is a one-off, but based on this, I’m unlikely to return. Thanks!

I recently experienced the worst service of my life—an ordeal that left me feeling both disrespected and utterly infuriated. I made a phone call to place my order, and instead of being greeted with a polite, friendly introduction, I was met with a harsh, dismissive “What do you want?” The abruptness of that statement, lacking even a hint of courtesy, made it clear from the start that I was not valued as a customer. Before I could fully articulate my order, I was rudely interrupted by a demand to state my name in a tone so aggressive it felt like a personal attack. This callous dismissal not only shocked me but also set a deeply negative tone for the entire experience.

After that initial encounter, I reluctantly completed my order only to be told that the food would be ready in 25 minutes—a promise that proved to be nothing more than a cruel joke. I ended up waiting 30 agonizing minutes before I decided to visit the store in person. Upon arrival, my frustration only escalated as I struggled to gain the attention of anyone on staff while seeing other customers, including those placing orders through Uber Eats or dining in, being served promptly. I wandered through the store for another 15 to 20 minutes, desperate for someone to acknowledge my presence, while it felt as though I had ceased to exist entirely.

The situation reached its peak of absurdity when I was finally approached, only to learn that my order had not even been entered into the system. A chef, speaking in a language I couldn’t understand, nonchalantly announced that the curry I had ordered was unavailable. Instead of an apology or a sincere explanation, I was curtly told to wait another 25 minutes despite already having waited much longer. The dismissive, almost mocking manner in which this was delivered—accompanied by scornful looks that made my irritation even more palpable—was more than just unprofessional; it was a complete disregard for my time and patronage.

This wasn’t an isolated incident either. On a previous occasion, on February 24, I ordered a cake for a birthday party scheduled for the following evening. When I arrived on February 25, I discovered that the order had inexplicably vanished, leaving us without the centerpiece for a very important celebration. The repeated pattern of lost orders and evident indifference has not only ruined my plans but also shattered any trust I might have had in this establishment. The combination of rude communication, deceptive wait times, and a systemic failure to respect customers is simply intolerable.

I share this experience with the hope that it will serve as both a warning to potential customers and a wake-up call to management. The consistent lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic human courtesy has left me feeling completely disillusioned. No one should have to endure such treatment, and I urge anyone considering a phone order from this establishment to...

I have been to this restaurant before at least 2-3 times. There food is good. However, I have always been disappointed with their customer service. Everytime I go there, they always have the same excuse that oh this food will take 45 min minimum to cook or that will take more than half an hour. This time I went to this restaurant few days back with my friend to have their special chur chur naan. We also ordered malai chaap and chai. They gave us the same reason again and started making faces which really made us think that they wanted us to change our order. But we decided to wait. There was no place to sit so we asked if we could buy something from the nearby shop as the food is going to take long. They told us it’s okay. We finished our shopping and came back after 30 min. The food still wasn’t ready. The woman at the counter told us to have a seat. So, we sat and waited for another 30-40 min. After waiting for so longgggg, my friend went to the counter and asked about the food to which they replied, “we already put your food on the outside table and it’s been sitting there for 10-15 min now”. The food was so cold and they never served my chai. The food was totally not worth the amount of time we wasted there. Also, this wasn’t the first time it happened. Whenever we go there, they are always busy taking phone orders and are so oblivious of the customers standing in front of them who have actually taken their time out and come to the restaurant to not only enjoy the food but the ambience as well. I have always been disappointed however, this time they outdid themselves in terms of poor customer service. I will never visit this...

I went inside their restaurant for dinner and before ordering I realised that I had some unused doordash credit on my account so I placed a pick up order for a veg thali, showed the order to the short female cashier wearing a black cap and requested her to give it in a plate for dine in instead of packing it. She rudely said no to the request and said it can't be served in a plate and will be given in a take away box. Which was fine as long as I could sit there and have the food. And so I just waited for my order. Waited for more than 40 minutes!!! In these 40 minutes there were other customers who came in and ordered and got their food before me! And I kept waiting and looking at these people go with their orders on time. When I asked this female cashier she said ya it's a doordash order it will take time. What is this biased behaviour towards people who have paid in store vs people who have ordered online??? I paid the same money but got treated differently and got terrible customer service! At last it was so late I was frustrated and hungry and just decided to leave and cancel the order. The cashier then says oh its almost ready I had put in 40 minutes wait time online for your order? Like seriously? Why would you take 40 minutes when I am waiting right in front of you? Plus she didn't have the courtesy to apologise for the wait time. She then goes ahead and has the audacity to mark the order as delivered without actually delivering it. Fortunately I got my refund from Doordash but never ever going back to Dial a Curry. Pathetic customer service and incompetent staff. You have lost a...
