Fasta Pasta Sefton Park — Restaurant in Adelaide

I was attending a farewell lunch for my family member who was going abroad so this was a big deal. We all ordered, however the meals came out in dribs and drabs. I ordered the burger and waited. Some of my family recieved their meals while the rest twiddled our thumbs. 50 minutes had past and my burger still hadn't come. My son ordered a burger too but mine apparently was not ready. Finally, i asked the waitress where my burger was and she said "I'll look into it". Next minute the guy that took the orders said i only ordered one burger, but i know what i said, when i ordered 2 burgers. So, now i was annoyed as everyone had almost finished eating( thats how long i waited). He apologize and tells me that they'll make my burger asap. I waited and waited. Now, it was beyond a joke. I found the guy and told him to put my burger in a box as everyone was getting ready to leave and i had lost my appetite. I left feeling annoyed and very unsatisfied. Also, at Slow pasta, your salads will have no flavour or dressing just leaves on ur plate( bunny food). He gave me a piece of cake for the bother, which was a nice gesture. The service was fantastic by the two young women waiting on customers. Very attentive. Very quick with the drinks and extras considering how busy it was. Unlike the mile end store who didn't even bring the cheese out, these two didn't forget a thing and still had time to open the door for customers leaving. The serving size of the pasta was a bit small, I'd rather no bread more pasta, but then how do clean the plate afterwards :). The pasta wasn't bad but I would expect a better brand of pasta, the sauce was good though. The service was very quick, maybe too quick as their wasn'tt any charring on the chicken pieces. Not too bad. Used to be a regular at this place but would like to see some more vegetarian options. There are many other places around close by that have more options. I feel like the menu just hasn't been updated for too long. I get there were a few things added about 6 months ago but honestly one vegetarian thing added (eggplant lasagne) isn't that great and it seems to always be cold in the middle or Luke warm at best. There is alot of flavour lacking in the dishes and I find 90% of the time the pasta is just simply way over cooked. Great customer service there though, they have some of the nicest staff around.
