Placing a to go order? Don't. Wildly unprofessional.

Called on the phone, lady that answered didn't seem to want my business, very quick to try to end the conversation without asking for any details in regards to the order, spoke unbelievably fast, (I'm 26). Ordered a Bun Bo Hue and requested an extra 400ml broth. Received my food resembling something of a Vietnamese noodle bowl with no broth, I'm assuming a Bun Bowl... Broth put to the side in a sperate container. No extra broth included. And I know I paid for it, quoted 16.50 over the phone, paid 23.50 in store, for god knows what extra. No receipt included in sale to disclosed what the hell I even paid for/ordered.

All this would be avoided if you had just spent an extra 20 seconds on the phone to clarify the order. Only writing this review as a similar experience has happened to a friend, change the names on your menu, or take a moment to clarify.

Trying to do the right thing by ordering on the phone rather than using menulog or the likes. Next time I'll just buy soup in a can, Food was alright.

I assume if you dine in, this wouldn't...

Dropped by Le Soup thinking I’d grab a hearty bowl of seafood laksa. What I got instead was an unexpected round of 20 questions at the counter.

I said, “Seafood laksa.” She asked, “What kind of seafood?” I said again, “Just seafood.” Then came more questions ... “Do you want octopus? Fish? Prawns?”

At this point, I was confused. Isn’t seafood laksa supposed to include... seafood? Turns out, each type of seafood is an extra cost ... something they didn’t bother to explain upfront. No clear signage, no clarification. You basically have to custom-build your own laksa and hope for the best.

In the end, I was charged $26.54 ... way more than what most restaurants charge for a proper seafood laksa, and honestly, the taste didn’t justify the price. The laksa was average at best. Broth was fine but lacked depth, and the portion wasn’t anything special. I’ve had better, more flavourful laksa elsewhere for much less.

Overall, it felt like I paid premium pricing for a DIY menu and a mediocre meal....

tried the pho and banh mi today. Shopped there regularly, so I was thrilled to try to see if we could make it our regular stop by for a meal before our grocery run. Disappointed with the pho, tasted bland, and I could literally count the portion for the meat ×3 thin slices of brisket and raw and possibly x1 beef ball cut into quarter. The banh mi is a bit pricey. Don't mind paying more, but the portion of the meat is another letdown. The roast pork was fatty, and the picked vege filled up the bun than the actual protein itself. The queuing system and ordering from the counter is a hassle. why can't we order and pay later. A couple sat on the table next to me walk out as they didn't want to wait in the long queue. Just provide constructive feedback as we are local and are always looking forward to supporting...

Delicious banh mi PACKED with fillings and full if flavour, it was like a four course meal in one sitting! They also have some vietnamese iced coffee that is impossible to resist. Friendly helpful staff, everything nice and clean, really i can only highly recommend!!! Opened march ‘19. Nice spot to sit down too, and get out of the hustle and bustle - give it a try..!!

Little eatery in the North Park shopping complex. Modern twist to the presentation of traditional Vietnamese street food. Friendly service, well seasoned food and great tasting Vietnamese ice coffee! Servings are generous and use of fresh ingredients. Definitely dining in is much better compared to the occasions we’ve ordered delivery. Trading hours are limited.
