Fasta Pasta — Restaurant in Adelaide

Ordered a lunch special of lasagna, chips and salad for $8.90. Now, fair enough, I do not expect outrageous amounts for a $8.90 lunch special. However, I wish I had just spent the extra money to receive a decent, 'normal' meal off the menu, instead of being enticed by their "Gr8" lunch special. I had a barely half full container of lasagna, equating to around 5 mouthfuls. The salad - well, don't bother next time. 4 lettuce leaves, half an olive and one cherry tomato. Just don't bother. And to top it off, a infant sized portion of chips.

Just raise the price of the lunch special, and make the portion sizes less insulting. Seriously. The lasagna tasted fine, however the one saving grace is the optional garlic bread I purchased. That...

We have been to a few fasta pasta store's, and this one is the best hands down. Compliments to the chef for getting everyone's order correct and super tasty. The kids really enjoyed their meals for once. The girl's serving were super friendly and attentive to every customers needs. When they saw that I needed another beer, they were on it. The facilities were super clean and tidy. While it was quiet, one young lady was outside cleaning cobwebs of the front of the store. We really enjoyed our experience and will make this our go to fasta pasta store from now...

Service - very good. The staff were friendly and the food came out very quick. They got one order wrong but changed it straight away and very fast.

Food - Had the chicken Ceasar salad. The chicken was cooked well, moist and had a nice grilled flavour. I like that they still give complimentary bread and butter with mains. The pasta is very good for the price you pay. I've had better but it was much more expensive. This is a good happy medium - all things considered.

Ambience - not too loud. Family oriented. A nice place to go for a casual dinner on Friday...
