I have been coming here for years . My daughter's favourite Vietnamese roll shop. This morning my daughter forgot her lunch. I bought her a combo roll NO CHILLI , I even commented to the lady it was for my 12 year old who forgot her lunch . I asked her for a small bag , she threw it at me ( not a friendly lady) My daughter school called me to tell me she couldn't eat her roll and it was put in the bin because it was full of bullet chilli. They readured me they were able to give her vegamite sandwich from staff room as canteen closed on last day of school term. I called the shop ,the same lady was offended that I was not happy ( never did I threatened or swear ) she swore at me and hung up! I went to the shop to ask for a refund or at least replacement. She said I had to bring the roll back . I can't do this as it is in the school bin. She was telling and refusing to refund . I took my friend a retired police officer with me as a witness . The whole thing was ridiculous! All she had to do was at the very least apologise and replace the roll. She now looses hundreds of dollars because I will never go there again and I hope you all double check your order before leaving the counter because they will not believe you. Also , it's such a shame , there is no excuse , the roll would cost them $3 to make . I would have been happy with that . She eventually gave my $8.50 but the consequence of their behaviour will cost them more than $8.50 and we are sad that this couldn't have been fixed without being insulted and yelled at. By the way , she admitted she accidentally put chilli in it . She tried to blame me for not double checking what was written on the packet . I didn't even know they wrote anything on...
Read moreThe cold rolls were little edible sachets of flavour. The constant tinkering and breaking boundaries of the chefs here has resulted in the flawless combination of flavour and texture. Although, the saying goes, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it', the staff here are improving the perfect. This meal felt like it was worth .5K, a first class trip to Vietnam fro my stomach (a tenth of my body) I will be returning again and again. The noodles quenched the seemingly tantalising thirst that i had for good noodles. The seemingly Sisyphean task of appeasing my colossal belly was easily completed by the team at Hang. I could eat here every day, every meal until my time here on earth expires. I would recommend for everyone from Ned Kelly to His Excellency (Formal, in international correspondence) Comrade President Incumbent Emmerson Mnangagwa (Ruler of Zimbabwe since 24 November 2017). Even Jakob enlightened my experience. The food tickled the tastebuds of my tongue similar to how a plane glides over silkily smooth, weaving clouds. The wonton soup, slid down my throat like Kevin Malone coated in greasy butter, carrying paper over the floor of the warehouse in the hit American Television show the office ( E3 S8). The amazing food has eternally changed me as a man, my entire perspective on life has changed and the server (Jakob) was the kindest person that I have ever had the honour of meeting. The buns were...
Read moreHad a Vietnamese roll today from this place. Roll was not the best I’ve had but OK. Young women who serves here was very rude to me for no reason. I was waiting for my coffee and she came with a coffee to the counter and I thought it was mine and so I stepped forward. Then she yelled at me saying “ NO NO THIS IS NOT YOURS !! You have to wait “ I wasn’t in a hurry or wasn’t rude to her. She then treated very nicely to an Caucasian lady in front of me to belittle me! I read some of the reviews here and noticed this young women have been doing this to other customers as well. I work in a office close to this bakery with so many of my colleagues love Vietnamese cuisine.
I will never return here again and tell my colleagues to find another Vietnamese lunch joint as there are many...
