Absolutely delicious food and service !

I live in the northern suburbs and usually frequent the Yum Yai Thai Express restaurant in Mawson Lakes.

My partner and I were leaving the western/southern suburbs one day and decided we would try their other restaurant. This one has a slightly different menu.

The staff are so friendly and always smiling and welcoming!

The food was so delicious, fresh, hot and was truly a great dining experience!

We are going to be moving to the western suburbs later in the year and this will definitely be our usual Thai restaurant for dine in and takeaways.

The red chicken curry is my favourite! And their roti was so lovely!

We also had the Thai fried rice and the satay chicken with vegetables. This was so fresh and delicious. For entree we had spring rolls, and chicken wings, and squid I believe, and they gave us free prawn crackers. Every thing was cooked perfectly.

It’s a little bit pricier than the Mawson lakes restaurant. But it is in the western suburbs so that always adds to the cost of restaurants, more of a formal dine in restaurant and with more table...

I love this restaurant and the food but tonight i had a very disappointing experience. I have been to the restaurant a few times, but i mainly order through DooDash, probably every week. 90% of the time I order through DoorDash the same driver has AT LEAST another delivery before mine and it takes at least an hour to deliver. Tonight it took the delivery guy 1,5hrs to deliver my food while also going on the opposite way of my home 80% of the time. I have also noticed the DoorDasher spent ages in store before leaving for delivery. Called the store and the lady who answered me said this was something I needed to solve with DoorDash because that was not their responsability. Well, i think it is. Specially when you risk losing a loyal customer because of service or a partner. Also noticed (more than twice) that the dashers spent at least 15-20min in store before leaving with the order. Sadly considering stop ordering and going back...

Hi I just Baught a red thia curry chicken and a beef peanut stir fry.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.

My partner is currently sick so I have been rushing getting things done and buy food for him this honestly is really upsetting.

We are not picky eater but we could not finish this and had to throw it away.

LACKED SEASONING, MEAT WAS DRY WITH ONLY 1 PEICE , CURRY WAS BLAND, AND THE BEEF STIRFRY WAS CHICKEN AND VERY SOUPY !!!

I usually don’t do these types of reviews and do good reviews. The lady who took the order was nice but my main complain was the food.

WORST THIA FOOD I HAVE HAD AND WE GO TO ALOT OF THIA RESTAURANTS THIS IS VERY DISAPPOINTING. I am so sad I wasted money and time when I can be taking care of my partner.

WILL NOT COME BACK!!!

I am Sorry that I am saying all this I am just overwhelmed and upset and hope the staff are able rectify...

We ordered the yum yai delight, the pad khee mao and the basil fried rice along with coconut Juice and Thai milk tea. All the dishes except for the fried rice is simply delectable. The thai milk tea is the best I’ve had so far but had a lot of ice in the drinks. The consistency of the thai basil rice was a huge let down as it was mushy and wet. The flavour was there but the texture wasn’t quite right. And also they could do so much better with the dessert menu. There was only 3 items and all of them were ice cream. Overall the food tasted great and the staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed the time and definitely recommend.

Don't trust some of the reviews. This was the worst meal we had. Normally I don't write reviews but this meal was so bad I had to do it. Choo chee with 2 prawns wrapped in foil and had to peel them ourselves ($7 extra 😁 for this) Beef salad with beef so dry that you need some water to swallow it (dogs didn't like it either) Crab cakes - do you mean cardboard cakes. Can't bother to keep writing. Stay away from this place - food is expensive and $!-!!t.
