Awesome place for a drink, great atmosphere and beer selection. Tons of character.

Food is an entirely different story. Seeing a 27 plus item menu, with 7 desserts etc was a bit scary... I should have trusted my intuition as a chef with experience, as the quality control would be immense. I ordered the 1 hate priced pasta. $40!!! At a pub. I was told it's hand made and I believe it, as they rolled it to thick I assume or didn't blanche long enough. If was incredibly undercooked. Not al dente, genuinely still hard and with the white floury center. It is quite the higher end for pricing for the quality for sure. I didn't expect high end food. But when you start pricing basic staples like burgers at 30 and ravioli at 40 and a 250gm porterhouse for 44... the kitchen better be bringing their A game.. those are restaurant priced items with pub presentation and flavours. I won't say it's disgusting, the flavours were OK. If it was cooked properly I'd still say it wasn't worth 40, maybe 30... maybe... but spending that and it being unedible is a bit sour is all.

Overall, i would go back for brews and hangs. But foodwise, I don't think the food is worth the pricing. It's... it's just really expensive, considering everyone's else's plates seems to be 400gm of chips. With 120 gms protein.

If it was aligned with other pubs price wise absolutely. But just having a bunch of beer coasters and jerseys on the wall visually doesn't make it a destination to justify eating a 250gm porter house costing nearly a pineapple, when for $55 bucks I can go to the city and get a woodfire grilled dry aged 500gm tbone in a restaurant...

Atmosphere - great Drinks - great Food - maybe aimed at old folks who have dispensable cash or super super keen on what it's like to eat English...

British born here 👋🏼 I've visited once and I can assure you, I'll be returning. First impression is it's symbolic of a home away from home. The environment inside and outside (minus the temperature) feels like an old English style pub that feels incredibly familiar to any Brits missing that home feel. The rustic brick outside to the interior aesthetic of football filled enthusiasm plastered over the yeh walls and ceiling. Now, onto the food. The serving sizes are intense. You really get what you pay for, which equaints to the 'Eyed bigger than your belly'. I was hesitant to steer away from fish and chips but figured I may as well try a British staple. Cottage Pie. I can't say I've ever eaten a cottage pie at a restaurant/pub let alone seen one on the menu ever, but it tasted incredibly authentic to what you'd expect from a little cottage on a farmers land in the countryside of England. Incredible presentation and taste. I can't express into words how unbelievable the food was. If you're British, Australian or just feel a craving hunger for something different, honestly, go here. From the aesthetic, to the food to the staff, it's all a...

This is such a brilliant pub with a fantastic vibe and culture. One of Tea Tree Gully's oldest buildings now houses a great family oriented pub. The staff and family feel that you are met with when you walk through the doors reassures you that you've made the right choice to visit. It's one of those places where you go there for a drink and stay for food and atmosphere.

The extensive range of beverages and the ever amazing menu has you spoilt for choice and always feeling anxious about what meal you have to decide on - You could spend weeks trying everything on the board and still not have a clear favourite! Portion sizes of meals are great, you will walk away...or roll away...feeling accomplished and satisfied.

It's always clean, there's plenty of room indoors and outdoors so it's perfect for all weather and occasions. Part of the pub culture you can experience is the locals with their usual spots with a drink and some banter. The staff are proactive clearing tables and often stop to have a chat and a laugh to help make you feel welcome.

Parking has two separate areas either directly behind the pub or off to the left as you pull...

An absolute gem of a pub that pulls you into an immersive environment that lives up to the atmosphere - a great recommendation in the Tea Tree Gully I have been to a lot of pubs for dinner over the years and I can confidently say that no place caught my attention quicker than this place did The Fox and Firkin pub is a beautiful mish-mash of a british pub, as well as a "best friends dream pub" Full of character, the atmosphere here is palpable and paired with some of the best alcohol/tap choices I've seen in some time. Top tier Guinness too The food is classic but delicious. My highest recommendation is to get the curry sauce with your chips - was recommended by a regular and it was insane Everything about the place is a vibe and it feels almost like this tucked away gem in the Gully I loved it - will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone
