Grind Roast Masters — Restaurant in Adelaide

Went in recently to buy some fresh coffee beans. I’ve never purchased from this roaster before so I was keen to get some help from the experts. The man who assisted me was lovely, great customer service and he pointed me in the direction of a bean that would suit my needs. When I asked him how fresh the beans are, he was a bit dismissive telling me “this is what we are in the business of doing, roasting beans”.

I was really happy with his assistance and customer service but quite disappointed with the product as the beans are clearly not the freshest and had I known that, I would not have purchased them.

Definitely try before you buy and in future I would probably order from them online as the product would probably be fresher.

Having said that, I would buy from them again as I believe if I were sitting here drinking espresso from their freshly roasted beans, the product...

Awful coffee experience on this occasion. First impressions were poor when the lady behind the counter appeared annoyed to serve a customer. Upon requesting a cookie this lady spent more time fussing over the lids of various containers than on providing friendly service. Seems that she got my order wrong and used some kind of alternative milk because the cappucino I ordered had no chocolate powder and the milk flavour was unpalatable. There wasn't enough sugar to mask the flavour so I left it unfinished. Even when I asked for sugar the other attendant plonked the dispenser on the table with her back turned. Not sure if complacency has crept in here because the Cafe is attached to a group of retail stores, but heck, this place needs a kick up the pants in my opinon. I for one will...

I work as a developmental support worker, and I take one of my clients to Grind at Findon every week after his charity shop volunteering shift. The gentleman (Peter) who always serves us is super lovely, and very knowledgeable about the products he sells. My client always gets a medium hot chocolate, and this seemingly small community outing, is the highlight of his day. It's very difficult to find places in the community that are accepting and non judgemental towards people with intellectual "invisible" disabilities.
