Hungry Jack's Burgers Lightsview — Restaurant in Adelaide

Avoid!! Terrible service and unapologetically so. It looks like nothing much has changed since my last 1 star review. This time I thought I would give them another go by ordering a sunday. I line up behind a huge transit that is blocking me for moving up and a Santa Fe who had a car space Infront of them. The person did attempt while I am most of a car away from the ordering speaker but once I actually got to the portal there was no one there. I wait and wait 2 cars go via the 2nd lane get their orders take straight away. In desperation I think maybe the sensor is broken or something and revers and drive again. This is after waiting for over 5 minutes in 33 degree heat.

Now I am rightly very annoyed and the lady does take my order with little real apology for keeping me waiting. I drive on and pay my money. ( A good restaurant might offer something as compensation). I then go to the pickup window and get given a small coffee cup which I was very confused by as while I had ordered an afagato (coffee and Ice-cream) I was expecting a sunday not a small iced coffee. I questioned what it was and she said it was what I ordered. I took the lid off to see what I had received and the cup was full and a good portion of it spilled on myself and car and I had to actually ask for some paper towels as the lady was not paying enough attention to think to offer this without asking. I also mentioned having to wait and she just gave excuses and offered no apology.

I thought Macca's at Collinswood were incompetent but these seem even worse. I will never go back to this...

Went there today with my son usually I get good service and good food not today it was terrible I asked for a spicy chicken medium size meal Fanta for the drink no ice and frozen Fanta for my son and I want the angry Angus Fanta for the drink no ice this young Asian girl approximately 15 yrs old put through my sons burger with the frozen drink charges me $3.80 for the Fanta witch comes with the meal and the angry Agus I had to tell her she had charged me for the drink that comes with the meal she had the nerve to say that's what you wanted I had to tell her the drink comes with the meal you don't pay extra for it she tells her manager he shook his head at her give me a refund of $3.80 then when I get my meal it's 1 Fanta with ice and a frozen Fanta I said I had said no ice and there's supposed to be 2 drinks of Fanta and the frozen Fanta she says that's not what you ordered I said to her wow do we have to do this again 2 woman who were waiting for their food just looked at me one woman said she doesn't know what she is doing I said yeah aye the young Asian girl hands me the drink says here's your Fanta like she was pissed of never in all the years I've been buying from hungry jacks have I had such a incompetent server it was like her ears were painted on I wouldn't be surprised if she loses her job when I got home my burger look like they had mixed glue with the mayonnaise I won't be going back to this hungry jacks store I will...

Very frustrated with this store. Usually very dirty inside and staff don't care! Went through drivethrough as I am getting over a nasty cold. Got my granddaughter a kids meal with an apple juice. When the girl handed me the order, I asked where the apple juice was and she said, it's all there in the bag. I asked again, so the juice is in the bag and she replied yes. There was a line up behind me so I drove out and handed the bag to my granddaughter. She said, Nanny there's no juice. So I had to park my car and now go into the store which I didn't want to do, especially as I had been unwell. I told another girl I wasn't happy and said how I had asked if the juice was in the bag. This girl says to me, just so you know, we never put the juice in the bag. So I replied, well I don't work here and I knew that, so maybe tell your staff that. She really wasn't that bothered about the inconvenience or stuff up and yes, the store was dirty as usual. Food on the floor, and over the seats. Give this place a miss, as I can only imagine how dirty it is in the food prep area !! I have complained to management twice before as well about food stuck in between the benches, a wad of chewing gum still there 2 weeks later after they assured me the store had been thoroughly cleaned which I could see was a lie....
