Saturday evening at 5:45pm I arrive to KFC Prospect, as I enter through the restaurant to use the toilet I’m met with 2 very junior male employees having a laugh & messing about in there. One Crew Member had a spray bottle & cloth and I asked if the toilet was closed for cleaning. I was told ‘No’ and the boys (because that’s what they were, boys!) scurried off. Chuckling & laughing and having a grand old time. The bathroom itself was disgusting. Toilet paper & tampon wrappers strewn all over the stall floors. Perhaps these boys should’ve closed the toilet for cleaning after all. I order my meal. The same 2 boys from the toilet are now serving me. They’re still laughing & now chatting amongst themselves & only every now and then showing some remote interest in what I’m saying. My order was ordinary at best. My Twister fell apart & my chips were cold and undercooked. The Crew Member who packaged my order just screwed the top of the bag up & slid it over the counter at me without saying a word. I also got no receipt & no dipping sauce, which I saw on the screen when ordering that I was charged for. No napkins or towelette in my bag either. The restaurant was also dirty. With crumbs left on tables & patrons having to brush them off with their hands to sit down to eat their food. The outdoor area has leftover rubbish on the tables & bench and not once in the 45mins I’ve been here has anyone gone out to clean it up. I understand Junior Crew Members, I do. But the people responsible for training & overseeing young people who enter the workforce at an entry level role in fast food really need to instil in them the difference between a playground & a workplace. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the repeated issues we've experienced with your service, and the unacceptable way our recent complaint was handled.
On multiple occasions, our orders have been incomplete — either missing items or not providing the quantity we paid for. We initially chose not to complain, giving your team the benefit of the doubt. However, after several repeated mistakes, we decided to contact the store regarding a recent incomplete order.
We politely called and asked if we could come back to pick up the missing items. Shockingly, the staff member hung up on us mid-conversation without any explanation. This behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
The next day, we received a call from someone at KFC who acknowledged the issue and told us we would be given credit for the missing items. When we asked if they could send a confirmation email as proof, they said it wasn’t necessary — we could simply come in to collect the items.
However, when we returned to the store, the staff refused to help us unless we could show proof in the form of an email. We explained the situation and even showed them the call history and phone number that contacted us, but they still denied our claim.
This entire experience has been a waste of our time and money. It clearly shows a lack of communication within your team and a total absence of accountability.
We expect a proper resolution and clear communication moving forward. At the very least, a formal acknowledgment of this complaint and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience...
Read morePurchased via app and the chicken was overcooked and not nice. Realised they the oil they used must be very old. gave them a second chance and they still using old oil. You can see it in the chicken and its not nice. couldn't be bothered to call them as was really hungry. ate a couple of pieces and threw the rest out. Yes I get it the oil price has gone through the roof! but if you don't change it as soon as it is pitch black then your product would be really bad. Wont be eating KFC for a while as its a once in 6 months treat.
I went back recently and ordered via app cause I felt like it and live close by. It was the biggest mistake ever. Got home and the chicken was burnt and oil as puck. called the number but they do not pick up. Drove back and the girl at the counter opened it and knew straight away she wouldn't feed her dog that. She told another worker to come out to look and he took a glance and threw it in the bin. This KFC is the worst and is run by teenagers. There wasn't a sorry or "here are some free drinks" it was like here is freshly made pieces for you. please save yourself the time and go to another KFC. Or even better go to Maccas or...
