The parmis are huge, my friend could only eat half hers (half for lunch the next day!)
I went for the stone grill, which was delicious and my cut of fillet was beautiful. I was quite happy because there are many gluten free option on the menu.
I was very excited about the availability of gluten free salt and pepper squid, however this is a MAJOR disappointment for anyone with coeliac disease.
Firstly, I was told the chips are not gluten free so on my steak they were swapped for roast potatoes (these are yummy!).
My calamari came out with chips, so I questioned that. Apparently, yes it's gluten free, there's a gluten free fryer they go in.. so then I asked why did I get roast potatoes then? Anyway, lots of confusion on if there is a separate gluten free fryer or not... And then I get told "gluten free is different from coeliac".. like love, I'm no asking ten billion questions for fun here! (TBF, the waitress was very helpful although told me I should have said the specific word "coeliac" because apparently the kitchen has different processes for gluten free vs coeliac.
Anyway, my new plate of coeliac safe squid came out and it was no longer salt and pepper squid.
It was grilled calamari that tasted like burnt rubber 😔 1000% do not recommend unfortunately.
The lemon, lime and bitters were...
Read moreNot family friendly, rude management and Really disappointing experience!! I dont usually complain about restaurants but I am really disappointed with how my son and I were treated. I ordered a meal for my son and it wasn't what was advertised on the menu. My son didn't like it, I tasted it and I agreed that it didn't taste anything like and tasted very gross. I mentioned it to the waitor and in return they brought out the manager. I spoke to the manager, who was very rude and spoke down to me like I was silly for complaining. All I wanted was an alternative for my son to eat, but they rudly refused and snobbed me off because I mentioned that it was for my son. So Instead my son sat and ate chips for dinner because the so called squid that I was given wasn't freshly caught and cooked, but rather the cheap processed squid that take away shops use. So in total for myself to sit and eat what was suppose to be a nice family meal was a waste of $100. Overall I should have just gone to maccas if I knew that my son was only going to eat...

Have had good service previously this time one lady was good the other not so much. Atmosphere was ok, toilets were dirty. Wouldn't take much to bring the meals up to scratch the biggest let down is the vegetables, corn included its like they get the frozen packs from woolies... but even then they taste better. Pretty sure the chips/ wedges are a frozen item too. S&P squid pieces are way too large to be crunchy, decent flavour but go soggy cos of the massive size. Surf and turf sauce is nice with decent size prawns. Will edit review if something changes but will more than likely pick elsewhere to go with the family so no promises. Spent $400 plus here perhaps too many times. They do, do a good schnitzel tho have no complaints on that and the size...
