I had high hopes for this place as it is one of the very few restaurant that serves Sarawak laksa in Adelaide. The Sarawak laksa was quite (70%) authentic - it would've been a ton better (85%) if they served it with some lime and belachan which every Sarawak laksa comes with. The chicken rice was quite disappointing though as the rice was undercooked and the chilli sauce was way too garlicky and not spicy enough (mind you I do love garlic and usually use twice as much garlic on everything than anyone else). To my husband's point, the dish would've eaten better if served on a plate rather than mushed in a bowl (but understandably they presented it that way as it is meant ot be a 'rice bowl' dish). Not sure why there's also so much fried onion on every dish? Fried onion is delicious especially in a dry noodle dish, but there was just way too much of it it ruined all the dishes we had. Otherwise all the dishes were tasty and semi-authentic. The place is a bit pricey, but acceptable (?) considering it's location and ambienec. And for those of you looking for authentic Sarawak laksa paste, they stock them (as well as other ingredients you need to make a Sarawak laksa, except the lime) in their retail store situated next to the cafe. 3.5 stars

Basing this review purely on the dish I had plus service. I had the Beef Rendang Eggs Benedict. I loved it. Flavours were amazing and overall well presented. Would have liked a little bit of chilli oil or something to add a tiny bit of spice. But it was still delicious and I ate every last bit of it. Great they have a kids menu, my little man is allergic to eggs so I initially asked for no eggs and maybe add a bit more bacon, there was initially resistance with this and an additional $1. Due to principal I did not pay or have the extra bacon. Upon the kids bacon n eggs on toast (minus eggs) come out, the staff advised she had added the extra bacon as there was no egg. Glad they rectified my mild frustration with the request (having said that I understand it’s a business and nothing is free etc). Thanks for understanding LLaw peeps and adding that little bit of bacon, made me happy and little man happy for more food on his belly. Sorry pics don’t do the meal justice. Just go try it out ^_^ Oh and it looks fab too.

Everything was amazing and higI recently visited LLaw Boutique Cafe, and the food we ordered was absolutely amazing! The Avo on Toast and the BBLT were definitely worth every penny – both dishes were delicious and packed with flavor. However, the Malaysian curry wasn’t quite to my taste, but that’s just a personal preference. The coffee was also fantastic – rich, smooth, and a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu! Highly recommend! quality food

This used to be one of my favourite places for the best coffee with that amazing flavour, but something has changed....like the ownership!!!

The staff is friendly but the service is rushed!!! They don't give you time to finish eating....cos at your last bite they're taking your plate away...OMG...It's what I've always hated!!! 🙄

I like to sit down and enjoy my breakfast time especially my flat white....hot and not feel rushed like them, walking around, asking "everything ok, can I take your plate?" but I just finished eating and it's still infront of me!!! Take it when I put it to the side or when I leave....like everyone else does!!!

Didn't like the service, my husband has experience with hospitality for the last 50 years and this drove him nuts!!! We don't...
