Loveon Xpress — Restaurant in Adelaide

I came to this cafe because of the good reviews , but I had a terrible experience , and that’s why I feel that I need to leave this feedback.

I ordered 2 coffees and 2 breakfast . The menus were all sticky and dirty , the same the tables , there was no a single clean table in the place (at that moment we were the second customers ).

The person in charge of the kitchen after saw that we place the order keep talking with the customer in another table for around 10 and after that he goes to start cooking , that is when I got pissed.

After we put the order , we have been waiting it for 30 min and it never came . The place had no ventilation and all the oil and fried smell was everywhere and stick to our clothes . After 35 min a asked for the refund and I got refunded just for the food .

The usual chef was away when I visited and unfortunately I wasn’t able to get their signature vegan fritters. BUT the man who was covering was really accommodating and attentive!

He offered to swap out the eggs on my avo toast for mushrooms without charge. I can’t state enough just how nice that is after getting charged EXTRA to swap out eggs and halloumi for mushrooms and tomato 🍅 almost everywhere I go. The mushrooms were beautifully done too ❤️

My partner had the signature chicken said it was good.

We also got a call midway through him cooking for us which meant we had to change the order to takeaway. The staff happily fixed that up. THEN things changed again, allowing me to stay and my partner go. Upon seeing I was staying, the staff plated my already boxed up breakfast. He really kept going the extra mile.

It will be noisy when busy, but for good reason. The menu has a great variety of meals both sweet and savoury with vegetarian and vegan options. Tea and coffee as well as freshly blended juices. Even when busy where there are lines outside for takeaway coffee and all the tables are full, we didn't wait too long for our meals to be brought out.

I got the pancakes and they are plates beautifully and with my favourite colours. The pancake are large and fluffy and the balance of fruit, icecream and other flavourings are perfect.

I've also had sandwiches in the past and there are plenty of choices. With unique ingredients. I think I had one with spiced cauliflower fritters in it. Very...
