Yellow Matter — Restaurant in Adelaide

We are locals, and have been regular enjoyers of the food and drinks at Yellow Matter, as well as the comfort and ambiance of the venue.

When it came time to choose a venue for our wedding, we knew that we didn’t want a ‘standard’ wedding venue, but still one that would be comfortable and easy for us, our family and friends. Yellow Matter fit the bill perfectly, and we were very happy that they were able to host us. Throughout the entire process, Tristan and John were superb. Weddings have a lot of moving parts, and they were consistently communicative and flexible throughout the whole process. They took the time to meet with our families, provide solutions for problems big and small, and made us feel welcome and relaxed. On the day, the staff set everything up exactly the way that we had hoped, and provided amazing service throughout the evening. We can highly recommend Yellow Matter for your own wedding or event.

We made an unplanned stop here this afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised at what a gem this place is! Turns out on Wednesday’s they have $10 glasses of wine and $20 for any pizza - and highly recommend both! Considering the deal we were surprised how not busy this place was but meant we had our choice of table and could enjoy the afternoon sunshine in peace (except for the planes coming in to land but enjoyed guessing where each flight had departed from)! We ordered both red and white wines, two pizzas, the green olives, the larger and the limoncello spritz and everything was delish and fast to arrive! The staff were friendly and helpful! Honestly the only thing that stood out as a negative was the bathrooms were not at clean as one might hope, but a minor issue overall. All-ability friendly with no stairs, an all access bathroom, spacious dining areas inside and out and disabled parking near the front door (no arms on any dining chairs however but walkers/wheelchairs would fit under the tables). We headed down to the new long awaited Yellow Matter from the team behind Karma & Krow.

We live in the precinct so this venue has been eagerly anticipated. And we were not disappointed. From the moment we approached and entered the venue, we were in awe of the chic fitout; incorporating satisfying curves and a modern 70’s vibe.

We were greeted and served by the very frequently and laid back staff. It was our first outing with our newborn and they were very pram friendly.

I was personally extremely impressed and delighted to see a FULL VEGETARIAN/VEGAN menu; the first I have ever seen in a venue. The vast array of local beverages (including great non-alch) & delicious food was utterly drool-worthy (the Dill Dough pizza & Ricotta starter were highlights)

The tunes and atmosphere on a laid back Sunday lunch was very rad; this is definitely our new local and we cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu! Highly recommend for your next catch up, outing,...
