Lulu's Pizza — Restaurant in Adelaide

First time trying Lulu’s and I wasn’t disappointed.

I’ve driven past this place so many times and always wanted to try it and last night was the night! Called up and requested one supreme pizza and a garlic bread pickup.. 20 minutes later I was driving home with it.

I was very impressed with the quality ingredients and how loaded the pizza was. Everything in supreme tasted amazing. Dream pizza. My partner doesn’t like olives but even she liked them on this pizza.

It was the kind of pizza I was hoping for. Much fresher and way more delicious than a Domino’s and not as fancy or rich as a Neapolitan. It was your classic Aussie takeaway pizza. Which, in my opinion is exactly what I want and can be difficult to find these days.

I will add that the service was excellent and I can’t wait to return.

Disappointing. A few of our friends raved about the quality of their pizzas so we have decided to try them as well. The "Lulu's special" was overloaded with toppings in a typical Australian fashion, there were so many ingredients their taste was just lost and it tasted simply like a mess. The Australian pizza was simpler and more edible. The base was OK but not great, not greasy but not particularly well baked either. Perhaps they just had an off day but we certainly didn't finy anything special about their pizzas. It's a decent place but judging from our first visit it's not a particularly good one. It's been over a year and I thought i'd give it another chance, Again I waited over an hour for the pizza to arrive, the box was soaked by rain and almost caved in but in compensation was given an extra garlic bread to my order which was great service.

However there was another underlying issue, I had ordered a meat lovers pizza from here, observed the toppings on the base of it and there was a scarce amount of pepperoni and bacon. Found it to be more overly stuffed with ham than all the other meats it's supposed to...
