Wow, disappointing! Don't get me wrong, the food I ordered was enjoyable but far from what was advertised in store! The front of house Australian young man was very professional, polite and helpful and seemed a little embarrassed by the kitchen staff's seemingly casual attitude. When I intriguingly ordered the traditional 1967 family recipe bolognese, I overheard laughter from the kitchen staff, one in particular, who did not have the attitude of someone who gave a toss about the food he was serving. "Along with lasagne, spaghetti bolognese is the most abused Italian dish. There are some crazy versions out there," said Massimo Bottura, a bolognese "virtuoso" who runs a restaurant in Modena. Well this Bolognese is one of the craziest versions I personally have ever tasted! (Bolognese is about the meat and is certainly NOT spicy!!!! Which this one is!) Read moreI don’t really leave bad reviews for businesses but I have to say I’m really disappointed with the customer service I received today. Ordered a few party pizzas over the phone for delivery after a sporting training. At it’s conclusion, I was told that they hadn’t even started making them and that it would be another hour, something about other orders having been prebooked for delivery. A bit upsetting, but fine it can’t be helped. When they do arrive, the pizzas have been damaged and squished in transit. Called them immediately, with pictures, only to be scoffed at by the driver and told that we must have damaged them. Was given the impression that perhaps a partial refund might have been offered, they said they’d call back after speaking to the owner/manager, but they haven’t so here we are.
I would hope you would treat your customers a little better than this, definitely won’t be...
Read moreI went here one night in mid October 2018 during my week long trip to Adelaide. It was late at the time and my travelling companion was getting a bit concerned in trying to find a place to eat that was still open at around 10pm ish. Thankfully Marcellina’s in Glenunga was open until midnight. We took a chance on it and each ordered a pizza from the very helpful and friendly gentleman who served us. The pizza was great and very affordable. Nice venue too which seemed perpetually busy. Always a great sign for a restaurant. If I am ever in Adelaide again this is the pizza place I will be returning to....
