Upon a recent visit to Zeeas, a breakfast endeavor turned awry, presenting a culinary tableau far from the promised delight. The scrambled eggs, rather than being a cloud-like repast, were an unfortunate affair of unseemly slime. The halloumi, which should sing with a golden crisp, was charred beyond redemption. As for the bacon, one's expectation of a crisp bite was met with a flaccid reality, seemingly untouched by the sizzle of the pan. The establishment's response to the debacle was to offer a beverage, a gesture that fell short of rectifying the situation. Friendly, polite staff. Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate were fine. Zeppole was foul. Stale. Zeppole was replaced at no charge with an orange cake which unfortunately was also not fresh. The toasted sandwiches we ordered only contained half of the ingredients we paid for. A very disappointing experience, especially for the price we paid. We did call and let the staff know. First time going, was loured in the the Allday breakfast sign and will be coming back ! Zeea's have the most lovely staff creating a wonderful, comfortable atmosphere. The food was fantastic, fast and well priced (large meals). I had the Eggs benny it was delightfully well prepared and the service came with a smile, and even checked in with how the food was going which is rare these days.
