Everybody loves the wholesome eating experience McDonalds has catered to since 1955. We all grew up with the wonderful jingles sung by our friends Grimace, that mischievous hamburglar, the weird little bird thing and of course, the star of the show- Ronald. In later childhood I was taught the famous ingredients by the crowd at the soccer game chanting "Two all... two all... two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun". However after working nightshift I was cruising down the M4 toward home and the all beef patties, although delicious, were not what my tired and hungry heart desired. I reminisced fondly of the limited time chicken big mac of yesteryear. Upon arriving at the drive thru I asked if the chicken big mac was still available to which the young dame replied no... but it can be made. I paid my money at the window and anticipated the happiness that only the taste of a chicken big mac could give me after a long day. To my surprise, I was sent to the waiting bay even though I was the only customer in sight. Moments later the young woman came outside with my bag and I drove through tedious roadwork detours... all the while with my eyes on the prize, imagining that first bite of a soft bun and crispy, ever so lightly seasoned chicken with crisp lettuce the moment I get in my front door. Now I would have been slightly disappointed but still happy to eat a standard big mac at this point. But when I arrived home, to my dismay, I had a big mac with NO meat. No chicken, no beef. I am flabbergasted as to why I needed to wait in a waiting bay (although a much shorter wait than usual) for a "burger"...
Read moreI ordered $54 worth of food on DoorDash, a double cheeseburger, double mcspicy burger, double quarter pounder meal (medium) and mozzarella sticks with chilli jam. Firstly I was missing the mozzarella sticks, but they gave me the jam. The jam was the tiniest squirt I have ever been given, it didn’t even cover half of the bottom of the sauce tub. The burgers were stone cold the bread was so dry, the mcspicy burger had the sauce dumped on the side of the burger NOT on it. The chicken was like biting into rubber and the amount of lettuce anyone would have asked if I wanted a burger with my salad. The chips were stale and dry. I called up to complain through maccas and DoorDash. Maccas staff brushed me off saying “well then you need to ask DoorDash for a refund bye” not a care in the world. DoorDash only refunded me for the missing item $4 returned. I’m so disgusted in this branch. Do better and be better. I will be reporting Regis to the higher ups. New staff and better management is needed for this business. You should be ashamed to claim great customer service. This has to be Adelaide’s worst...
Read morePoor service. I ordered 80 nuggets through the app and chose pick up by drive through. I drove through Window 1 and 2, all good. At the pick up window, the staff in there told me to move to the next window with no explaining. Then at Window four, there is nobody in there! I waited for 5 minutes and not even a single person come to me. I tried five times to call the staff through that window, an no one answered. I felt like I have been forgotten. Another 2 or 3 minutes later, finally, a girl come to the window and guess what she said to me? “ You ordered 80 nuggets so you should know that you need to wait!” I was so confused. I don’t mind to wait, and I can understand if they don’t have enough nuggets in the hot bar. But before that, shouldn’t any body from any 3 of those previous window tell me that I will have to wait a bit for my food? At least, when I tried to call somebody through window 4, shouldn’t they send somebody to the window to explain what’s happening there to me? Very unprofessional and rude staff! Really...
